6/10Beautiful views. Went here for our last meal in Italy. Waited almost 30 mins before we ordered with nothing but water. Weren’t in a rush but would have appreciated more attention. Sweet young waitress seemed flustered as I think she was covering our table for another. Antipasti and secondi were good but nothing special. Both of our primi were severely overcooked and dry. I had the lamb chops and clearly gave me the runts as very little meat

10/10Always reliable in a great location high above the town in a historic manor house. Large outside courtyard and terrace - excellent maitre d. Traditional food well cooked mainly Tuscan meat dishes

8/10Generally we had a great time and were not disappointed. However I would not make a special trip to go back. If you are looking for a hotel and services to go with it then it’s a definitely YES. If it’s a culinaire experience then there is better in area.

10/10Group of 12 staying in poggobinsi and found this on 'net. It was one of best experiences of our vacation. Manager and servers were terrific. Menu was delicious. If the room was loud it was our fault. There is a lovely terrace but could not use it due to late afternoon showers. Views are wonderful. Highly recommend. PB is not at top of list of towns but it is centrally located. The hotel connected is a Castle. If in area, don't hesitate to have your special meal here.

10/10Great ambiance! The staff was amazing and very friendly. The food was excellent! Pasta cooked perfect and served steamy hot. Definitely worth a visit for a nice romantic and enjoyable meal!

9/10Nice balcony, white tablecloth restaurant, good service, nice Italian ambiance. Appetizers were excellent, especially the stuffed prunes, wine was good. Main dish was mediocre - the meat was a bit over done. Still, we enjoyed the place and would visit again if we're ever in the area another time.

10/10My wife and I had dinner there while we were on our honeymoon. A mbient, Food, Service. Everything was excellent. The service was probably the best among all restaurants we visited during our trip to Italy. And the view from the terrace is spectacular. I would definitely recommend it.

10/10Amazing view of the Tuscan hills, excellent staff and host in all aspects, superb food and wine. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone near Poggibonsi. Thank you so much for the wonderful night! We will definitely visit again!

10/10This restaurant and its employees are amazing, excellent, marvelous! The whole experiance was perfect! Really great food and perfectly prepared! The waitors were very well mannered and just really nice and sweet people! We recommend this restaurant to anyone who will visit Tuscany!

10/10Our dinner at San Lucchese was the best one we’ve had our entire trip. We had an 8:00pm reservation for 13, four of them kids under four and the rest adults. The hotel rooftop setting was lovely and the view from the hillside was beautiful. The service was fantastic, the entire staff wonderful. Everything we ate and drank was delicious, with some really great recommendations made by our waiter. I know my grandfather’s beef stew was a real home run. My husband has celiac disease, and while everywhere has been accommodating, San Lucchese really went above and beyond. They started everyone out with bruschetta and made him some specifically on gluten free bread. He had cacio e Pepe on very good gluten free pasta, also served with gf bread, and loved the Corene brûlée’. We were so happy to have found this restaurant.
