very mediocre food, and overly priced. pizza was ok, meat no so much. location is good, but I wouldn't recommend it.

San Marco, Aveiro (June 2024) As Close to Italian as you can get without being in Italy Authentic, typical Italian fare with a light modern twist. The highlight was the “Pasta alla Ruota”, with warm spaghetti tossed in a hollowed wheel of parmesan. Key characteristics include superb and professional service by cheerful waitresses, a bright and open atmosphere and terrific location beside Aveiro’s main canal.

We had a little lovely pizza and pasta dinner with a view of the canals at San Marco. We sat outside though our table was shielded by the elements (it was a little windy) and watched the sun set. Our dishes (a San Marcos pizza, ravioloni with beef plus a panacotta dessert) were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient. We definitely recommend and would return when we come back to Aveiro!

Really nice and typical italian restaurant in the center of Aveiro. Nice for a dinner with friends or for a date. Would recommend the pizzas and homemade pastas.

A superb Italian restaurant just across the road from the canals of Aveiro. Service, food quality and ambiance were spot on.

Really enjoyed our meal. Second visit on this trip. Fillet steak was great. Had Pork the other night. That was great too. Will try pizza next.
