Elevated wine pairing was absolutely worth it. The risotto was the best I have ever had. What a special meal, full of surprises and thoughtful touches. Exceeded expectations in every way - one of the top meals I’ve ever had!

The restaurant is Michelin recommended but deserves a star. The service was excellent and the food exceptional. Every dish was balanced, original, local and extremely well executed - not an easy task given technical difficulty of some dishes. The coffee was even memorable. With its own menu with tasting notes. Our only complaint was that there was too much food for our appetites.

My husband and I had the 7-course meal paired with wine in the private room and it was magical. Service was warm and engaging, food was interesting and delicious. A night we will remember always.

As a couple of gluten free diners we always appreciate our intolerance being taken into account without feeling we are missing out on flavour or texture. San Martino 26 did not disappoint, we loved every course and the wines. Service is attentive and each course explained in the context of the region and its heritage. Highly recommend.

At first I was a little concerned to walk in and only find one other table occupied and the hostess stand empty. Had to say hello a couple of times but then someone came from the kitchen and apologized profusely for not being there to greet us. Being the last reservation of the night and with a fixed menu they were surely expecting us. The 5 courses on the menu were served as more like 8 and every one of them was sensational. Inventive, satisfying, and exciting are three words I’d use to describe the food. The service was excellent as well. Despite not being greeted when we arrived, by the end of the meal there was nothing at all to say negative . The explanations and the attention given to making sure we enjoyed the food fully and as intended was welcomed and they didn’t complain when we asked them to repeat a few times.

Absolutely superb experience. Very professional service, food is out of this world, using traditional Toscan recipes with a touch of modern. I don't know if this place has a Michelin star while if not, it definitely should.
