The owners are always so welcoming, even when it's busy. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. You eat surrounded by the beauty of the beach and sea. Highly recommended.

Food just fantastic. We had arroz de marisco, and it was one of the best I ever had. Service is very welcoming. Decorations and beach atmosphere are wonderful.

Lovely atmosphere, situated in the beautiful Quiaios dunes with a spectacular view at the sunset over the Atlantic. Very friendly stuff and tasty foods

Beautiful day with a wild sea and very cosy restaurant made us very happy . The barrata, fish soup and steaks were all excellent, tasty and well presented . Professional service with a smile topped off a wonderful experience.

The location itself it is a 10/10 ❤️ The service was excellent 👍 The food was alright 👍 The prices really reasonable 👍 There is room for a little improvement but I would definitely go back in a heartbeat 💓 100% recommend 🥰

I can’t believe there is a place like having dinner on Mars. The restaurant is well-placed over the sand and grass, like on Mars(although I haven’t been there but i believe Elon is working on it). The Menu is beautiful & special designed with Nasalization font. All these components added together means it will be an unforgettable night! The food is stunning & the service is wholehearted. You shouldn’t bypass this place when you go to Portugal!

We really enjoy eating at SAND. Lovely location and atmosphere l, great food and we always feel welcomed! It’s becoming one of our favourites, especially when people visit us.

Not our first visit, and certainly won’t be the last! Excellent lunch of lobster and seafood rice , followed by a divine Portuguese ice cream. Highly recommend

Great service from all the staff @SANDmurtinheira, really tasty good food and my meat was cooked exactly how I like it. This was the second time we visited and everything was as good as the last, fantastic run restaurant by great people. Thank you 🙏

Always a great time at Sand. We really enjoyed the Seafood rice and the sparkling sangria. The atmosphere is very nice by the beach. Service is very attentive too. We will be back!

I went there with my family for lunch - it was a sunny winter day, we ordered Sangria and two types of rices (Langoustine and Octopus rice), both were absolutely delicious. We also recommend the sparkling Sangria which was not too sweet which we really enjoyed. The portions were quite generous too. The music they were playing was great also, service was very attentive. We can't wait to be back :)

We were a large group - we enjoyed a long, lazy lunch and it was a perfect experience. The service, food and wines were excellent. I thoroughly recommend this as a destination restaurant.

What a lovely restaurant right on the beach. The staff were incredible as well as the food. Don’t pass on the shrimp appetizer.
