While the food was ok, the service was one of the worst services I got in the last years. We booked a table vía The Fork for 22:00 but the kitchen was closing at 23:00 and the restaurant was closing doors at 00:00. This meant having to rush with the orders, not being able to order any starters nor deserts, and we struggled to get anything more than the first order (eg no bread, no second beer). Moreover, we were kicked out of the place as the employees “had to leave at 00:00 and no more”. My birthday happened to be at 00:00, what a memorable experience, han?

10/10A lovely, lively restaurant! The menu lists a terrific sampling of Portuguese and Brazilian dishes, from an excellent moqueca to an expertly prepared cod. The service was first-rate: attentive, amiable, but never intrusive. Our party of six had a memorable dinner.

Dining at Santa in Lisbon was a truly delightful experience. The standout dish was the octopus – perfectly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bacalhau (salt cod), another Portuguese classic, was also excellent, rich in taste and beautifully prepared. Complementing the meal was a fine selection of wine that paired wonderfully with the food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, with friendly staff and a cozy setting that made us feel right at home. What truly elevated the evening was the sound of fado music drifting over from a nearby restaurant – an authentic touch that added to the charm and deepened the sense of being immersed in Portuguese culture. Overall, Santa offers not just a great meal but a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Portuguese cuisine in a lovely and relaxed environment.
