Incredible, inventive food in a lovely, cozy environment. Food and wine was all focused on the La Mancha region of Spain, so it was an experience to try so many interesting recipes from a creative chef with such specific focus.

Remarkable tasting menu that provided experiences I never thought possible. Pigeon, eel, trout with fruit. Very inventive. And wonderful service. Downside? The stairs.

On my last night of my trip to Madrid, I decided to splurge on dinner at Santerra. The food was excellent, but I really want to emphasize the staff and the service. Service was unobtrusive but attentive, and provided explanations and options to all the courses. A nice touch was when they presented the menu and wine list at the end of the meal it also listed all the staff members, from chef to kitchen staff to servers, who helped make the meal memorable. To me it showed that Santerra staff work as a team and that the management respects them, and that's not a small thing.

What an amazing experience. We enjoyed everything, from the wonderful smiles at arrival to dessert. It was a perfect dinner night. We live a few blocks away, so would definitely come back soon!!

Great restaurant with extremely good food, especially for the price. The staff was super nice to us, when we booked we mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary, and they definitely went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for such event. I will definitely consider coming again the next time I will be in Madrid

It was an overall good experience but we had higher expectations considered it’s a Michelin star restaurant. The dishes with meat base were good but not exceptional. We were quite disappointed. We made some questions via email about having different menus, and still no information was shared that the all people at the table must take the same menu. So we were forced to take a la carte. The vegetarian choices were actually only vegan and only 2 of them were tasty. The other 2 had vegetables with a strong flavour of vinegar. The staff was kind but no professionals to advice on wine came at our table nor options to pair wines with the menu a la carte were given. With a few adjustments, the result can significantly improve.

Excellent customer caring. The restaurant's theme (hunting) was stretched a bit too far for my own taste with all sorts of meats in meat sauce. The deer was especially well cooked. But I missed the perfect balance with vegetables. The vegetables were very scarce, almost absent.

Of course it is Michelin Starred,so 10/10 versus all others. We tried the grape-leaf sandwich, anchovies tortilla, pear with wild bore, and they were exceptional... Creative, layered with flavours and textures.

first visit was great , second was less as they basically called us liars by taking back what they confirmed. anyway, i d rather go elsewhere next time as it is not an acceptable behaviour.
