The restaurant was recommended by a local so we thought it would we’d save it until our last night. The table was booked for 8.30pm. It was busy and the atmosphere was great, people chatting and good music. Both tables either side of us had smokers which wasn’t a good start. The waiter told us the menu was online, we ordered a beer and I asked to sample a wine and some water. The beer arrived and he poured the remainder of the wine in the bottle and no water arrived. Then nothing…. We sat and waited and waited. We then asked another waitress to get me a glass of the wine and the water. Still we waited. We then decided to get up and leave but a guy who spoke to us when we first arrived saw that we were getting up from the table asked if we were ok. We said nothing, the wine and the water then arrived. We ordered a mixed fish grill, a pasta dish with pistachio, grilled vegetables, a salad and some french fries. We were advised there was no salad left or no vegetables. The French fries were too salty, the pasta dish was delicious but where was the fish????? and the mixed grill was ok, slightly overcooked. At no point did anyone ask if everything was ok nor did they ask if we wanted another drink. So rather stick around we decided to leave. The guy did apologise when we paid and didn’t charge us for a very small glass of wine and the fries. We left really disappointed.
