I was seated outside fairly quickly; I ordered a bottle of wine, a pasta followed by tuna. They immediately came back to the table saying they didn’t have tuna (mind you this is the tuna catching capital of Italy) but okay, I substituted for the sword fish. My pasta came no wine; I had to ask for the wine, finally it came, the pasta was really good, main of swordfish was good, but honestly, it’s was just such a service letdown.

Our reservations were there which was great but were told we would be inside. We asked if they could accommodate outside and after 30 seconds he said it wasn’t a problem - I felt he wanted to save those for ‘locals’. Regardless we sat outside which was nice. Ordered our food and it was ok at best… lacked seasoning and flavour. Have been touring Italy for over 2 weeks and this place was nothing special or the 9.3 score we saw and was why we went. Win come and lose some.

Although there were many servers at the restaurant, we waited so long for everything, including our bottles of wine and water, ice for drinks, bill, food containers, etc. As well, our food came out staggered instead of primi and secondi. Plates weren’t cleared efficiently. We had to ask for the bill two times. Our take-away bags were forgotten about, so we had to ask two times for those. We seemed to just get forgotten about at the end of the night. Our server was dressed and gone before us! Everybody greeted you with a smile, but lacked in efficiency and care. The octopus was wonderful. So were the mussels in soup.

New and well air-conditioned restaurant close to the beach. Food was nice but the service was not professional. Mixed up order even if we spoke in Italian. We asked if we can get the fresh fruit juice and never got the answer. And the bill without discount at the end. Could be better
