6.5/10The service was excellent the food was tasty but nothing special. The portions were small and it made it expensive to add on dishes. The restaurant lacked charm and needed some tlc. Would not go again.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. One of the main dishes was forgotten, and the timing of the service was off—one starter and one burger were brought to the table while the second burger arrived much later. Despite requesting the burger to be cooked medium, it first came rare, and when replaced, it was overly dry. The total waiting time for our food was around 40 minutes, which seemed excessive. It was apparent that there were more waitstaff than kitchen staff, which likely contributed to the delays. Additionally, the restaurant did not have sparkling water available, and if you're a fan of ketchup, you won't find it here either. Overall, the reviews we had read prior to visiting did not reflect the reality of our experience.

10/10We walked by the restaurant several evenings before making a reservation. Everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. So glad we made a reservation. The food and service e were great. The location was nice. We had the pork belly with pureed leeks...AMAZING...and the risotto, also delicious.

Our dinner at Sao Jorge was one of my favorite meals in Lisbon! The dining room was intimate and we found it to be a lovely place to enjoy food and wine during our visit.

4.5/10Food was really not good, pork belly is just oily, served with a purée that tastes of very little. It has undercooked root veg that don’t make much sense together. You have carrot, mushroom, courgette just thrown on top of what looks like a oily plate of baby food. As for the other plates; Prawns were a bit bland and the cod wasn’t very fish tasting. The service was very good but there was only one waitress for the entire outside and in, you had to feel for her, she was doing a top level job but on her own, which was noticed by all customers. I ate her a few years ago, not sure what has happened to it, sad really.

10/10We've been around 10 times at this restaurante because it is for us one of the best regarding portuguese cuisine. The menu has portuguese dishes, but made modern. You can be sure to find fresh and hand picked ingredients in well prepared dishes. I recommend Peixinhos da Horta as a good starter and the Octopus main dish (but any other is nice as well). The service have always been great and we were never disappointed.

A lovely place with good food, service and appropriate prices. Had the fish of the day, grouper, and cod. We tried a bottle of their house tinto and at 19€ it was good!

Didn't have any sparkling wine (although the alternative 'house' varieties were quite nice) and my Chicken & Tagliatelle dinner was quite oily (good job I like olive oil.....it just didn't need to be so swamped in the stuff). Service from the young man who served us was very good.
