Hands down the very very best lunch I have had in my entire life. The quality of the meats, the incredible eines, the beyond wonderful host, all of it is just the best ever. If you go to only one restaurant in Milan, then go to this one.

This is the only gastronomic experience based solely on cured meats (and some cheeses). I've never seen anything like it. There is a single "tasting menu" which is explained by the owner, who's extremely passionate about his job. I have tasted cow, pork, and goose cured meats. Some of the preparations were unique and absolutely amazing: for example a cooked ham which is split down the middle right after cooking, stuffed with 36-month matured parmesan, the stitched back together and aged for some time. Imagine a ham whose fat tastes like parmesan. My favorite cut was a cured goose breast which was cold-smoked, and which filled my mouth with an explosion of different flavours, some salty some sweet, and perfumes (mostly fresh: fruity and flowery).

The best cold cut platters in Milan. Definitely!. The world’s best fennel salami, delicious salami with amarone wine, cooked ham from angus beef, rabbit ham, great coppa, porchetta with truffles and so much more. Everything was excellent. So many varieties of cold cuts and always an explanation what is so special about it, where it comes from and what to eat first and last. The service was also excellent. Guiseppe is such a great host and story teller. Every time we come back to Milan, a visit to Sapori Stellari is a must. Wish we would have a place like this in Germany. Highly recommend visit, but you have to understand Italian to follow the descriptions and explanations. FIVE stars!

The restaurant although a bit far from other places is a gem! The servers are really nice and the owner is something else. We all felt at home being with family eating here. Food is great and I was catered to since I don’t eat pork. We will definitely go back when we are back in Milan. Keep it up guys!!

You should go here with time, Giuseppe takes you through a salumi and formaggi journey. Absolutely delicious. Prepare to spend at least 30 Euro each, wine included.

Aivan huikea kokemus. Omistaja ei puhu sanaakaan englantia mutta silti kommunikointi pelas viimesen päälle. Paljon hyvää ruokaa ja juomaa kohtuuhintaan. Suosittelen kaikille. An amazing experience. The owner doesn't speak a word of english but still we were able to communicate properly. Plenty of good food and drink at a reasonable price. I recommend to everyone. Molto buono, grazie mille.
