10/10Excellent service especially for a table of five where: 1x celiac 2x vegetarians 1x lactose intolerant And only one “ normal” guest. Very attentive, kind, great explanation and overall great atmosphere. I’ll be back for sure

10/10What an amazing experience! We had never eaten Afghan food and made the most of it with the tasting menu. It was beyond what our expectations were. Flavorful sauces and tender meats - we really enjoyed our experience.

10/10Fantastic meal at Sarban. From the moment we arrived until we left we felt well taken care of. Our first time trying Afghan food, so we took the server's recommendation and ordered the Chef's Surprise three-course meal, which samples many times from the menu. One of us is vegetarian, and the meal was designed so that we could share most things, with the chef clearly pointing out which things were vegetarian and which were not. Chef delivered everything to the table and told us about each item. Three different appetizers, a mezze/thali style main with multiple side dishes, and a dessert sampler. Outstanding! Interesting flavours. The lentil and eggplant were our favourite, but there wasn't a dish we didn't like. Desserts were not too sweet. Great service, very quiet restaurant considering how many other diners were there.

8/10Was a very cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Clear explanation of the dishes and that felt very personal. The dishes were dry for my taste, but this gave me a sense of the Afhgan cuisine up-close.

9/10Very cosy place with warm ambiance with a Middle East touch. Service impeccable, chef came at the table to describe the dishes. Afghans cuisine reviewed and served in a refined and modern way. Parking in front of the restaurant . A very nice experience, we will certainly recommend it to friends

9/10We were happy to find this restaurant. The service and ambience was great. We took the surprise menu, which was quite good and definitely homemade. The starter was exquisite yet only got one of each of the three items, and the vegetarian burger was split between two, so it felt like we were being served with two items rather then three. Hence the starter surely could have been served with an additional item or two each. The main dish was tasty and enjoyable, yet it could do with more meaty portions and less red sauce sides or propose alternative sides. We would have been ready to pay a few more euros to match the additional portions.

8.5/10The staff were great. Took their time explaining every dish and they even serve us again from the dessert we liked the most. The surprise menu is a great way to discover the afghan cuisine. Go there hungry as it is generous portions.

10/10We are delighted this restaurant that we know from Utrecht has come to Den Haag. The food and the service were as good as that of the elder brother in Utrecht! The delicious tasting menu never disappoints, and the soft marinated tasty chicken is such a highlight!
