everything was amazing, my second time going to this restaurant and had a very good experience. Would recommend to everyone.

The restaurant atmosphere was very nice and cozy, we felt very welcomed by the staff, excellent service. Food quality and flavor were very good but we thought it was overpriced, as well as a lack of creativity with the dessert, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Big thanks to the the waiters for their warm and welcoming behavior.

Food could have been much better for the price paid. The restaurant is overestimated in my opinion when I compare with other restaurants and prices all over the world as a frequent traveler for business. Food was lukewarm to my surprise. Flavors were not that pronounced in the “kennismakings assortiment” with different small dishes to be tasted as presented by the chef. À là carte with very strong limitations, e.g customer could only have a three-course menu starter main dessert. We do not like to take dessert for example and sometimes some of us want to skip starters and prefer dessert if still hungry. That is not possible in this restaurant. Vegetarian can have alternatives but in the discover menu sometimes the vegetarian got one item less as dessert for example but the price was the same 39,50 euro. Dessert in discovery menu included ice cream with different flavor but ice quality was not that great/tasty for the price paid. Price high but don’t expect too much. Not worth a 4,8/5.

Went to Sarban in Tilburg, got the tasting menu, and basically let them take the wheel. Best decision as every dish was a warm hug. Flavors? On point. Portions? Generous. Regrets? None. Afghan food doesn’t whisper flavor, it kicks down the door, spices in hand, and demands your full attention. Fragrant rice, tender meats, rich sauces that feel like they’ve been simmering since the Silk Road days. And it just keeps coming. Bonus points: they actually get gluten-free. Not the “here’s a sad lettuce leaf” nonsense - actual adaptations, full plates, no compromise. Service? Warm and low-key. Ambiance? Chill but charming. Tasting menu = 10/10 would do again. Bring friends, partner and your appetite. You will leave full. We will be back! 😋

I have already been at Sarban three times before yesterday, and is always as good as the first time. From the food to the people working there, you really feel like home! I definitely suggest to go and try the "surprise menu", if its the first time you go. Let them guide you through the experience, and feel as if you were a guest in their house! :)

The chef's selection was delicious! I couldn't fault a single dish. Great flavours and textures throughout and the best dal I've ever had. Definitely try the home made fig liqeur as well! We will be back!

The good rating that we had read was fully confirmed. Dinner was excellent both from food perspective and also from service point of view, the lady owner took personally care. Outstanding experience.

We went there as a couple and were immediately surprised by how friendly and professional the staff were. The food was also high-end and very well presented

The food was delicious. We had the introduction three course meal, and there was more than enough food that was all really good. It was a nice, calm atmosphere. The owner even had a lovely talk with us at the table. I would definitely recommend this place

Wonderful experience. The Afghan kitchen is a subtle mixture of tastes brought in Sarban by passionate people. The explanation at the table of every dish and the friendly staff add to this nice evening.

Very tasty food from the Afghan kitchen. The try menu is everytime a wonderful road to discover. Every dish is explained with love and in detail. And on too of it the price is very good. If you are nearby this is the place to go to eat.

We frequently visit Sarban and we are NEVER disappointed. The food is amazing, the staff are professional and friendly. We are from South Africa and the staff always remember us and go out of their way to make our evening enjoyable.
