We were given a table that was unprepared, even though there were ready tables in another part of the room, despite a reservation that no one was interested in. We waited a long time before we were served. We were reminded about the water we ordered three times.. After ordering, the food arrived quickly.

We dine out at restaurants weekly, often exploring different cities on our date nights. Having visited numerous Indian and Pakistani restaurants across Pakistan, England, Hungary, Paris, Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Metz, and Nancy, this was the first time we were charged extra for rice. Typically, rice is complimentary with mains, as it’s an essential part of enjoying curries. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here, and the overall pricing felt excessive for what was offered. If you’re looking for an authentic Indian/Pakistani dining experience, this restaurant may not meet your expectations. Charging for rice—something even Brazilian restaurants include—felt unreasonable. We ordered chicken curry and baigan bharta, which were served surprisingly quickly. Given that these dishes take 50-60 minutes to prepare at home, the speed raised questions about their freshness. The baigan bharta was neither grilled nor smoky, as the dish traditionally requires. Instead, they seemed boiled.
