What went well: Honestly, nothing related to the food. What went wrong: The roasted chicken was extremely dry and practically inedible. It clearly seemed pre-cooked long in advance and then reheated. The accompanying potatoes were also unpleasant to eat. What could have been improved: The quality and freshness of the food. A dish like this should never be served in such poor condition. Overall, the food was terribly disappointing and turned the dinner into a negative experience.

The dishes were really good! The service was a bit distracted but globally acceptable, probably due to the restaurant being really busy and the staff being rather small.

We reserved a table here by chance and last minute as our previous venue cancelled. We were pleaseantly surprised. A long menu which usually ends badly set our standars low. However when the starters arrived we were very happy, then the main course - probably the best steak I have ever eaten and a wonderful desert! Grear service and great food. Will be coming back.

Sartoria has a great location, atmosphere and the food is exceptional. The one thing that lets them down is that they are understaffed so service is extremely slow, often wrong (twice brought the wrong wine) and the queue at the end to pay was unacceptable so we left cash with a waitress and walked out. The food is really good though so worth a trip as we may just have been unfortunate having been there during their busiest period on Saturday night.

Well worth a visit if you go to Bologna. Was a warm evening so we sat outside. For starters shared the cold meats and cheeses board - a meal in itself! Skewered meat for main course. Dessert a fantastic Babá. All in all a gastronomic delight. Make sure you go on a completely empty stomach!
