10/10Extraordinary food and service, great atmosphere with a view - olive trees and see. We came back, because we liked it 3 years ago and we don't regret. And this outstanding limoncello! Thank you Scarpetta d'Oro for this experience :)

8/10Beautiful views on a hill overlooking the sea . The welcome wasn’t that friendly to start with but did get better . Unfortunately the whole experience was spoilt by loads of wasps after my mussels . So we ended up eating quickly and leaving which wasn’t what we wanted . Obviously not anyones fault but they could have put up some sort of deterrents in evening . Despite this the Food was very tasty and wine recommendation good .

10/10This was a great find close to our vacation rental home in St, Angelo at Villa Simone. Amazing views, great ambiance, friendly staff, & awesome food. We will be back next week with our guests again for sure.

10/10An excellent restaurant. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We dined outside and were able to enjoy amazing views of the sea and mountains which only enhanced the experience. Michele is an amazing host!

10/10Very favorite dinner in Marttinata. I had lunch there 32 years ago. Coming back was like coming home. Enchanting, attentive loving service and the food, perfecto. Thank you.

10/10The best fish and sea food in Matinatta. We ordered cod fillet with carrot for starter. It was brilliant combination of flavors. Next tuna steak and dorada, which were so flavorful and mouth-watering. The service is kind and helpful. There is the beaufiful view from the tarrace. You can feel peace and quiet. We recommend so much!

8.5/10marvellous view over the bay, excellent food and good service. The padrone welcomes you himself and recommends the specialities. The only "negative aspect" was the music (too loud and agressive)... We will go back and enjoy ourselves again

10/10The booking process was easy. We received a warm welcome and good advice regarding food and wine choices. The food was delicious, my fish was filleted for me at the table professionally. The view over the olive groves and the sea is beautiful! Will certainly go back in fact this was already the 3rd or 4th time we’ve been there over the years.

10/10Amazing location with stunning views over olive trees and the ocean. Staff were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious, and such good value. I was visiting from Australia and loved feeling like we were in an authentic local restaurant away from the tourist traps. Would definitely recommend, we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much!

9/10We were passing through after visiting the beautiful beach at Mattinatella. The photos of this restaurant don’t do it justice, especially the charming terrace with a panorama of the sea. Excellent service and nice ambience. Great value. Recommended!

10/10Beautiful setting although it rained for a minute and wind blew our umbrella over the staff handled it well we live near and will be back for sure. Food was delicious with my ricotta ravioli in a delicious scampi sauce and my husband's Teocoli allo scoglio. Yum!

10/10Great choice of food on the menu, including local dishes and pizzas. We tried different dishes and all were a pleasure to eat and also well presented. We had a great dinner with stunning views and a caring service, the atmosphere was also very pleasant and we loved the yellow light giving a cozy feeling. Highly recommended , I think it is difficult to find such a restaurant with quality food and great atmosphere for a fair price as so many places nowadays are taking advantage of the tourists' wallets. An almost perfect example of how an Italian restaurant should be, I say almost because the list of dessert was not great, everything else was top!

9.5/10The food was excellent and, although working with a small staff, the service was fantastic! We had the peppered muscles, which were light and seasoned very well; the shrimp ravioli, which were in a rich and creamy tomato sauce; and the grilled tuna in citrus sauce, which was hearty and tasted incredibly fresh. The highlight for us, though, was when we asked (now we know, quite foolishly) whether the locals ate the prickly pear cactus that seemed to be growing everywhere, and he went down and grabbed some, prepared it, and served it to us! Again, considering how small a crew they were working with, that kind of service is really special. Highly recommend.
