It was a company lunch and we wanted to take a chance to try a new place. Unfortunately their sushiman was absent so they couldn't serve any sushi, which is why I gave 4 stars for the food, since we only tried some starters. However the way they dealt with this setback was remarkable. They offered us some burgers from the spot next door to make up for it. So I have to give them top rating for the service only. Setbacks happen and it was very convenient that we didn't have to look for another place for our meal. So, in spite of the situation, the service was above and beyond.

3rd visit. Food quality has declined, ordinary sushi, and the service took 1h with 1 large table + 2 small tables (inc. ours). Won’t be returning. All the best.

Excellent sushi place, I have been here many times and I am always satisfied. Quality over price is good and the service is always good. One small minus point this time was the wasabi...it wasn't as hot or strong as it usually is and for me that's a bit disappointing...bus ask them and they have the original as well...don't hesitate to go there!!

Not recommended! Service is very bad. Had to wait for 50min for our order to come and it was wrong! Because the waiter forgot to tell our request to the kitchen! So we had to wait even more for the correct one!

The ambiance at the cocktail place was amazing. A DJ was even playong while eating. Can recommend the restaurant for people who like style and good music as well as good asian food.

The place was correct. A cozy restaurant in a little street. The quality of the food was also correct and the presentation was delightful. Even though we went quite early and it was empty, we had to wait to get the dessert menu and also to pay the bill, because there was no one in the room. But overall it was ok.

We had great friendly service from the moment we arrived. The waitress made some great recommendations and we really loved our delicious sushi. The restaurant can provide for a lively or more peaceful experience so it's great for a wide range of people. The atmosphere was great and we'd like to return.

The interior environment is nicer than pictures. The salmon was not as fresh because you can taste it. The tuna on the other end was fresh. Suggest the restaurant do better QC on the food items.

We sat at the bar across the street and lost needed to a love singer in a bar- like setting. Would have preferred the actual restaurant. We also reserved through TripAdvisor and should have received a percentage off. The hot miso is just hot miso with a boat load of siracha: nothing brilliant. The sushi was average compared to what I’ve had before. It was just… okay.

Rainy Monday evening - it wasn't busy, but it was friendly, welcoming atmosphere, with great service, very fresh ingredients, very cold beer, portions were good sized, super tasty food. It was more than what we expected and for sure the best sushi choice in Lisbon. I truly recommend Sekai and we will come back.

Very cosy space. You can choose between two rooms (one with clear lighting, more appropriate for dinner, and the other with a club vibe, dark room with neon lights and music). The food was excellent and the service was amazing. The only thing I'd change is that the information about each combo (earth, fire, water, air) should be a bit more specific, since we found out that the pieces are different in each combo.

Excellent value for money and the taste and quality of the food was not compromised! We got a plate with 28 pieces of sushi, 2 sides, a dessert and a tip for €35. The service was extremely friendly too! Luana and Eddie made us feel very welcome.

The restaurant itself is very intimate and cute, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, the food had some pretty strong misses. The gyoza were decent, but the hand roll had a very long strip of inedible white fish that killed the vibe early in the meal (I think it was a discard scrap that accidentally got mixed in with the food - there were visible scales and it was too tough to bite through). The table we were seated at hadn't been wiped down either. The craft beer was a nice, but a lot would need to be improved to justify the price.
