I really wanted to experience Fado before leaving Lisbon and my hotel recommended Senhora Do Fado as it was very nearby. I made a reservation for that same night and really enjoyed the entire experience--small, intimate venue, amazing muscians/singers and great food. I love that it felt like being in a friend's living room rather than a large venue that felt overly touristic. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our experience at Senhora do Fado. The meal was delicious, but the caring staff and the Fado show captured my heart. The only issue was that The Fork offers a 7:00 reservation and they do not open until 7:30, so The Fork needs to correct the available reservation times.

What an amazing experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the fado and the lovely home-like atmosphere. We are new to fado but our hosts and their guest performers clearly were devoted to their craft. The fixed price menu was very reasonably priced for the caliber of cooking, timed with the entertainment. We loved the traditional green soup, salad with mixed wild greens, sea bass & rice, pork cheeks in red wine sauce with truffle potatoes, and for dessert the crème fraiche. While we didn’t order, they had two vegetarian main dishes, that also looked good. Make a reservation so you don’t miss out!

What a great evening! Celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday in Lisbon with great food, incredible service, and even better entertainment. The fado singers performed 3 sets and was the highlight of our time in Lisboa. WOW!
