8.5/10Service was excellent and food ok. If I may give to owners some improvement points: for people facing the back of the restaurant, they would appreciate at least looking to a clean curtains and neat background. Also, it's nice to have a low light atmosphere but there it was almost trying to see what you have on your plate.

5/10very nice location with nice food, unfortunately the service was not as professional as expected. Waited really too long for the food and my child had to wait for more than 1 hour before getting his main course. Not acceptable.

10/10Very cozy restaurant, great food, great service and wonderfull experience. We had the course menu and all dishes were fantastic and the explanation and service was also excelent. The environment of the restaurant was intimist and nice, although not full. Overall is a fantastic restaurant!

8.5/10The food was delicious but waiting 45-50 min between each course was too long. We came at 18.30 when the restaurant opened and it seemed we had to wait for other customers (who had arrived later than us) to ‘catch’ up with us. Do that everyone was served the 2nd course at the same time. Before the dessert we again waited 45 min - we chose cheese - which doesn’t even need to be cooked - and saw the people who had arrived after us get their desserts!

10/10Our party consisted of two people, and we decided to try the four-course menu paired with a half-glass of wine for each course. We enjoyed our dining experience, particularly the element of surprise where we didn't know what dish would be served next. The food itself was a delightful blend of fish, meat, and various vegetables, each course offering a unique flavor. We recommend opting for the suggested wine pairings as they complemented the dishes nicely.

10/10Superb food, superb service, and very nice quiet atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sequenza. We did not know what to expect, but they exceeded our expectations and we will be going back for sure. From Tartar of makerel with a mango vinagerette, to Entrecote with sucoda and a wonderful dessert. And what more can we say about the variety of wines! Lovely place. Kudos to the chef and the front of the house.

8/10The dinner was very nice and tasty. Nice atmosphere. Fish was very good and the dishes super well presented just to say something bad, the dinner was a bit slow. You need to wait between one dish and the other one, but the waiting time deserve it.

9/10Go to Sequenza for good food and attentive service at surprisingly reasonable price. The wine selection was decent, but perhaps a touch uninspired. Most of the food in the four course meal we chose was carefully considered and precisely executed. But, the dessert, based on the berries from the dunes in The Hague, was unexpected and pleasantly different.

7/10Was looking forward to the visit. Half of the food was very bland, unseasoned and sadly uncreative. The veal tartare was the highlight of the evening, everything else was nothing special. Certainly not for the price.

10/10We finally had the chance to eat at maybe the best, or one if the best, restaurant in The Hague. What you get is excellent service, beautiful quality food and great wines. It is not too expensive. On our night we could make a choice between several entrée's and two main dishes. Everything very well prepared and beautifully set up on the plate. If you are looking for an evening to feel spoiled, this is the place. That is how we felt when we left to go home.

9.5/10Very chic restaurant with very good food. Staff was professional and friendly with perfect wine recommendations and meal explanations. The ambiance was calm. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. The utensils were changed with every meal. The food itself was wonderful. The black angus steak was tender and moist as expected. The appetizer was scottish salmon cooked rare in the oven, the sashimi taste paired wonderfully with the sauce. The desert was a sorbet with refreshing berries. A perfect way to end the meal. On a side note, the extra virgin olive oil presented with the bread as a pre-starter is one of the best you can taste. Rich in flavour. The restaurant meets the expected standards.

10/10Great place, owners Clinton and Leo know all their guests, know how to cook heavenly dishes and make their guests feel at home and special at the same time! It has been like this for 20 years.... hopefully many more to come!

10/10Excellent food in a cozy and homely setting in the garden. There were just six tables in the garden and it felt like we were being treated to an exclusive meal at someone’s home. The food was extremely well thought through, with clever little touches everywhere. Absolutely delicious without any pretensions. Highly recommended for the foodie. Well done to all at the restaurant.

4/10it was a very hot evening and we were therefore forced to eat outside in the garden area, which is not a very clean or charming setting and which is looked down upon by neighbours from the adjoining buildings. All in all a very disappointing experience for what should have been a fine dining event for my wife's birthday. The food was good but the main course of cod fish which was tasty but was accompanied by a very wet and insipid tasting sauce. The service was attentive and professional.

8/10We were there for 5 hours, with 1-1.5 hours between courses which was just too long. To arrive at 7pm and not leave until midnight, having to wait for everything from the wine to the bill. They really needed an extra staff member. Disappointing, as the food was good. Would think twice about going back.
