5.5/10A bit pushing on ordering more, pastas arriving cold and warmed up in the micro wave. A bit pricy for non organic vegetarian cuisine. Cheesecake was very good tho !

8/10Lots of delicious dishes on offer (cauliflower, red cabbage… mmmm), kind waiter, quick service, including a small portion of soup of the day to taste. Choice of music the evening we were there was a bit too loud / led zeppelin like or so but after asking to reduce volume, the style became a bit more appropriate too.

Absolutely incredible food! Super friendly staff, cannot recommend highly enough. Hands down the best food we have had on our Barcelona trip. 10 stars out of 5!

4/10The restaurant would be amazing if it weren't for the following elements: 1. The ambience could be romantic, the whole cave idea of the story, but it comes off as a restaurant that nobody bothered to arrange. 2. The food was half good, half bad. We had the vegan menu. The dessert was the only thing flawless. The rice with beetroot was horrible. The cauliflower had a heavy sauce (I love tahini so it is not that I am not used to it. This one was just giving you the need to puke). The gazpacho was ok, nothing special just like the padron. the aubergine with miso sauce was excellent. The pan con tomato is normal. They gave us figs with brie for free which was tasty. There was another plate though, which just like the curry was unedible. It was black, unappealing and tasted awful. 3. The waiters were in a big hurry to take the plates when we still had in them. I felt rushed on a Friday evening despite having a reservation. When I needed something they were not there. I do not recommend it. Big hype for nothing. There are a lot more places in Barcelona that are way better

10/10A charming restaurant with outstanding food. Great vibe and the staff were very welcoming. The chef’s specials were excellent and the mango, coconut chia seed desert was yummy!!

10/10We had the vegan tasting menu, which included a glass of wine. It was absolutely delicious, each dish coming thick and fast after the last one.. My favourite was small tissues red cabbage flowers, and the best sour dough bread I've ever had in Spain. It was a lovely atmosphere of welcome, unhurried yet vibrant, and excellent service.

4/10Used to be great value for money some years ago, now overpriced AF. We ordered the tasting menu and were quite disappointed. The single dishes didnt fit together, it was a weird mix of spanish tapas, indian and italian food. The quality of the dishes varied between ok and slightly below average. Service, interior, and music used to be charming, now totally bland.

Food was really excellent. We had the tasting menu which was all great including the pumpkin soup, pepper padron - a truly exceptional eggplant with soy bean paste. Cabbage with pesto and mint. One of us didn’t have the tasting menu and her dish was also amazong

10/10Lovely place, so catering towards diets (we were both veggie, and one of us gluten free), yet they curated the tasting menu for us. And it was delicious!! Absolutely amazing. Service was also fantastic. If you’re veggie, I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

10/10We enjoyed Sesamo so much we ate there twice in five days. The tasting menu was outstanding with a generous amount of food and seven very distinctive dishes/flavours. I especially loved the silky eggplant with miso, while for my partner it was the mushroom croquettes that were addictive. It's a cosy restaurant, nicely designed, that offers a comfortable haven from the Barcelona crowds and is off the beaten track.

10/10Sesamo is great restaurant promoting vegetarian food. Me and my partner visited them 6 years ago and had a great experience. When we returned last weekend the food was still amazing and experience was just as good. Food top notch, I had baked cauliflower for main and it was amazing. My partner had red cabbage for her starter and she is still talking about it. Highly recommended.
