Nice wine list with a local focus and knowledge staff. Small but creative menu. Decor is modern and spartan which is unusual in Venice. Very enjoyable dining experience

I researched quite a bit on the internet to find a place which would have a nice ambiance, elegant and contemporary, with the rest to match. Here we found a winner. Attentive and concerned service from the moment we entered the door thanks to Fiona. Followed by Matteo who was a great sommelier, very knowledgeable. I watched him make cocktails at the bar and you could see that he took it serious. No poorly made cocktail would leave his hands. The food was the best we had in Venice but not the most expensive. The baby octopus was excellent and the pasta we had following this was one of the reasons you visit Italy. The dessert was one you would like to repeat. No question, next time in Venice, this restaurant will be a must.

One of the best meals we ever had.The food was delicious. Never thought a dessert with beetroot and cucumber could taste so good !!We could not fault it .The service was excellent, one of the staff having spent some time in Ireland was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend and definitely return.

The food was fabulous, the staff were knowledgeable and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing. The location is ideal, close to everything, but just out of the madness that is San Marco.

The food and service were so outstanding that we actually made a second visit for another great meal. Matteo was particularly knowledgeable about the local wines and which would be best for the dishes we selected. Since we went on two separate nights, we were able to try a range of dishes -- ALL outstanding! Most memorable was the crispy eel, the smoked fish on pasta and monkfish on grilled romaine and the desserts were incredible (the cheesecake was memorable) - but the menu changes so I would go with what is suggested - you can't go wrong! Also, they dealt with a food allergies really well too!

The best restaurant during our one-week visit to Italy. We chose the tasting menu, and all the dishes were very creative—somewhat bold, but not overwhelming—and absolutely delicious. We had three glasses of wine (one white and two orange) as well as a dessert wine, all of which were excellent. It would be very hard to enjoy such fine Italian wines elsewhere, and the selection of orange wines was particularly impressive. We will definitely visit the restaurant again in the future.

This restaurant was an oasis of charm minutes away from the chaos of San Marco Square. Excellent food, friendly service and a great selection of wine. What more do you need in this beautiful city.

The wait staff service and the food were amazing. My wife and I had a great dinner. They split our antipasti, primi, and secondi dishes before they brought them to the table. The dolce and amaro were a fine finish.

There were only 2 staff on the floor which meant some tables had a very long wait to be seen to. A group of 4 high spending Japanese diners arrived which created additional pressure as the male waiter devoted most of his time then to their table and needs at the expense of other diners. This was an observation - as we were fortunate in that our booking was early and it was fairly quiet when we arrived and this didn’t have the same impact on us. All diners should be treated equally in my opinion.

food was pretty good. presentation and attention to detail was outstanding. one item to fix is air conditioning, it was too hot in the restaurant, like air conditioning was not able to keep up.

Warm welcome by genuinely enthusiastic staff into stylish space so near to San Marco square, but miles away in food quality. French oysters 2 ways? Especially w elderflower jelee?? oh yeah! Scallops & mushroom perfect. Sea bream w the most perfectly crunchy/fresh/perfectly cooked vegetables yet in Italy??? Yes please. Great wine by glass at fair price. Well balanced semi freddo to round it out. Noticed waitstaff was as attentive & kind to solo diner nearby- sometimes rare in Italy- kudos to their professionalism. HIGHLY recommend, from well travelled foodies.

Great restaurant. We've been twice. Excellent food and very reasonable prices. It's a proper, serious restaurant, not a tourist trap.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my mother and we had the pleasure of having Georgia as our waitress. The food was amazing and we sincerely wish we could go back before we leave Venice. I 100000% recommend this place for a lovely evening and the best fish and seafood.

This restaurant is a jewel. Located in a quiet street not far from busy St Mark square, it is the perfect combination of traditional Italian cuisine and innovative cooking. The price quality ratio of the tasting menu is amazing. The wine pairing is fabulous and it is a pleasure to listen to the female sommelier. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Venice.
