The food was not good. The steak was tough and bloodless. The octopus tasted like dried octopus and was not chewy. The pasta was relatively good, but that was just the way it was.

Starter prawn ceviche was good Main course octopus wasn’t fresh and my wife had the gnocchi which were terrible and only 1 prawn came with it. The lights flickered inside which was quite annoying.

Generally food and service was average. (We always had to help them to place our food in front of the table ourselves 🤣) The duck breast and octopus were great. The chefs ham and Cheese board are not in a very high quality but the amount was generous. Lemon gelato Dessert was a bit disappointing. Although I expected it was a sorbet instead of “gelato”, I didn’t expect the bowl of lemon sorbet was quite watery already when they served us.

Lovely setting to end a week travelling across Tuscany. Excellent, well curated menu and drinks list. Waiter and waitress tonight both very attentive and made us feel welcome with pleasant exchanges (both in Italian and little English too) across 3 lovely courses. Welcome prosecco and amuse-bouche a great touch. Cannot fault, highly recommend. 👌

We celebrated our 10 year Wedding Anniversary here. The staff was really friendly on our arrival and gave us the option to choose where we would like to sit. Outside area is very cosy with Fairy Lights and a beautiful view over the piazza. We had both starters and mains and the plates the waitress brought out was a feast for the eyes. Some different dishes we tried which were not typical Italian dishes but absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant and thank you again to our wonderful waitress. :)
