Best meal in Italy so far. The view is second to none. The service was amazing as the owner and family members went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience and provided the story behind the restaurant and each of the dishes served. You can tell he is very passionate about the traditional cuisine and wanting to keep that culture alive. I didn’t even open a menu. The owner suggested traditional Calabrese antipasto, and primi dish (pasta with red sauce), paired with chilled homemade red wine. Leaving us time to decide if we wanted to go with the secondo and we are glad we did. They served a wonderful beef dish (Tagliata di vitello). To be honest though the amount of food along with the variety provided for the antipasto was enough to fill everyone up but there was no way we were going to say no once they set those other dishes on the table. Five stars to the family at Settimo Cielo.

beautiful restaurant on top of a mountain. the food was made all locally and was excellent, Valentino was an awesome host. this was not just a restaurant but an experience. this is the place to be

I’ve been to Settimo Cielo many times and always found it a great experience a great value for money. On this occasion the price for our lunch had increased significantly which disappointed me somewhat.
