We went to this restaurant for pure reason of its name “17”, because of our date celebration -on 17 th of January. Honestly, we did not have high expectations when we entered, because the restaurant was almost empty (well, we were “early” -at 19.00). First, what was very surprising and very pleasant, in empty place, was the way our very polite professional waitress Fatiha welcomed us! We immediately felt happy! She had a knowledge and confidence, and a very warm heart, and gave us impeccable service . And our date anniversary because of her filled up the whole place with pure joy. We did not notice how restaurant became full with new customers within next hour. Thank you, Fatiha! Second surprise was incredibly tasty, well prepared meals by kitchen chief Emmanuele. We enjoyed every bit of it and said “thank you” to him personally, because there was a heart and spirit and high professionalism in each bite! Thank you, Emmanuele! We will surely return to restaurant “17”!

6.5/10As there was nothing but bread on the menu for me as a vegetarian, I agreed with the (lovely) waiter that he would ask the chef to make up a salad for me. It was the most boring, it was the most basic and most boring salad of my life! The second disappointment was that they charged it at full price even tho it was nothing near the salad that was on the menu for that price!! I got a 40% discount, granted, but even then I came away paying €10 for that small salad. The waitress, upon learning that it was my birthday offered me a complimentary drink which was a lovely touch on her part.

5.5/10The steak was average and far too salty, and the salmon was undercooked in the middle. There were two staff members – the woman was very professional and spoke excellent English, but unfortunately, the man struggled with basic communication. The steak knife also made it difficult to cut the meat properly. Overall, the experience felt overrated, and even with a 50% discount, I wouldn’t say it was good value for money.

Had a delightful lunch here today! Cool and calming interior, attentive and professional staff (at reception and in the restaurant itself) and quality food. Not a menu for vegetarians to be quite honest, so I just had the patata bravas (which were fabulous) and some wonderfully aerated bread call ‘pan de coca’. (See photos). 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

10/10Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. Slightly innovative but very well executed. Portions are generous. Price is perfect. Ambiance is not super fancy but nothing to complain. It's an hotel after all. Would come back, even without the offer.

The environment and service is nice, I just had 1 main course and some drinks. The free grilled shrimp with garlic and the cappuccino is nice, the beef fillet with truffle smashed potato just so so.

Best place so far in Barcelona for price/quality . In addition, fantastic service: Jaume was our joyful waiter, and the experience with him was truly fantastic. Super recommended.
