The food is fantastic. Having a gluten allergy is always difficult when it comes to dining. Sgrano is absolutely delicious. The server made great suggestions and we’ve already been twice during our time in Florence. I know we will have at least one more visit before returning to the states.

4/10This is more of a fast food place. The meals came out 4 minutes after being ordered. There was a hair in one of our meals. We brought it to the attention of the server. We payed our bill and left. They did not charge us for the meal with the hair. The two meals we ordered were not very appealing to look at...it was pasta fast food. If one is looking for gluten free, there are many places to get gluten free with a much more desirable atmosphere, like l'osteria il desco, ciro and sons...and many more! Sgrano was a big disappointment 😞

10/10It was great to eat somewhere that I was 100% sure that everything was gluten free. The food was delicious and fine for everyone coeliac or non coeliac. We enjoyed it so much we booked again for our second night in Firenze.

TAGLIOLINO AL TARTUFO FRESCO was butter pasta I could have made at home. The truffles didn’t have any flavor and the tagliolino was over cooked. The pasta with octopus was perfect. Red sauce a little salty. House Chianti was great!

9.5/10Dine in for the gluten free menu. The best sandwiches. There are so many choices with the best bread. We came back the next day to takeaway a sandwich for the train. If there is a line it is worth the wait or go in and order takeaway at the register.

Excellent service, drinks and food. We shared a vegetable charcuterie board- fabulous. The GF bread is like nothing I’ve eaten so soft and delicious. We had the spaghetti tartufo- highly recommend. Tartagellia porcini, ravioli with boar Ragu and the spaghetti with sweet pepper cream and guanciale. Dessert was tiramisu- phenomenal and I’m not usually a fan of tiramisu. The Sgrano restaurants were a life saver. If in Florence go at least once. The desserts alone are incredible.

10/10100 percent gluten free. Large menu, delicious sour dough bread. We were too full for dessert but the house cheesecake with berries looked amazing. Highly recommend the crostini appetizer.

2.5/10I am celiac and saw the raving reviews about this restaurant, so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The gluten free bread with the meat and cheese selection was good, but the gnocchetti was quite bad. The pasta was overcooked and the “sauce” was a bland lump of unevenly cut tomatoes. The service was also not great. I have seen that the take out sandwiches at the other location are good, so maybe I will try that and see if we just made an error sitting down to eat here.

3.5/10Unfortunately the pasta was so thick it was disgusting. The raviolo and tortellini were unable to be cut with a knife and it was inedible. We managed to eat some of the middle but it was unpleasant. We were really looking forward to it and were very disappointed

10/10If you are looking for a gluten-free restaurant in Florence, then you have to visit Osteria Sgrano. Incredible starters, very good pasta and pizza - you don't feel and taste the difference with a gluten food. Highly reccomended!

10/10Dining with a friend who has celiac disease on our trip in Italy, as we were seated at the table another patron came in to inquire if the entire meal was gluten free, it was confirmed it was indeed gluten free and the gentleman was astounded at how amazing the dinner was. After tasting the dinner ourselves I can confirm that everything about the meal was delicious and a delight for my friend who has celiac.

10/10We had a spectacular dinner here. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food, drinks & wine were excellent. 2 of the 4 in our group are gluten free/celiacs and we all got to taste each others food. Highly recommend even if you aren’t gluten free. Delish!

This is a must for every celiac! That said, my husband who doesn’t eat gluten free said he had no idea the food was. Pasta and bread is incredible. And if you want a sandwich, go to their other location. I wish I could take this place back to the States! Thank you Sgrano
