Lovely cosy restaurant with great food

Small, cosy space. Not many tables available. I asked for a table far from the door because I had a cold and it’s winter. It was difficult initially to get it although there were tables available, but they then agreed. The food is lovely though.

The food was imaginative and beautifully executed. It great to have such choice when I am gluten intolerant.

I really wanted to love this place as 2 of the 4 people in my party have to eat gluten free, but one of the four dishes at our table wasn’t really palatable and there was absolutely no response from the wait staff to make it better. And in general, even though it wasn’t busy when we showed up, the service was not attentive. It did get busier into the night and the service became even less attentive - it was difficult to get another glass of wine and when I finally caught the waiters attention I felt like he was annoyed with me for interrupting. The salads were great and 3 of the 4 dishes were great - but the rest of the issues we ran into tarnished our experience.

An all gluten free restaurant and the food, drinks and service were excellent we throughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant, a memorable experience.

Osteria dello Sgrano is such a gift for anyone with celiac disease visiting Florence. Knowing the entire menu is safely gluten-free makes the experience stress-free and enjoyable. The food was tasty and comforting, and very much appreciated. Celiacs are fortunate to have this welcoming and reliable option right in the heart of Florence.

Amazing place. Picci gluten free, it was absolutely delicious. Their bread is even better than normal bread. Well done to Sgrano!

Food is excellent and we know it’s all gluten free, so can enjoy our meal without worry! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Five stars all round!

The food and the hard working staff were amazing. We made a reservation, but our table was in a major intersection by the restroom - which wasn’t the most ideal. For Gluten free tho. I recommend.

This is a great place, 100% gluten free. The team was very kind and food and wine excellent. A very good place for coeliac and non coeliac :-)

The food is fantastic. Having a gluten allergy is always difficult when it comes to dining. Sgrano is absolutely delicious. The server made great suggestions and we’ve already been twice during our time in Florence. I know we will have at least one more visit before returning to the states.

This is more of a fast food place. The meals came out 4 minutes after being ordered. There was a hair in one of our meals. We brought it to the attention of the server. We payed our bill and left. They did not charge us for the meal with the hair. The two meals we ordered were not very appealing to look at...it was pasta fast food. If one is looking for gluten free, there are many places to get gluten free with a much more desirable atmosphere, like l'osteria il desco, ciro and sons...and many more! Sgrano was a big disappointment 😞

It was great to eat somewhere that I was 100% sure that everything was gluten free. The food was delicious and fine for everyone coeliac or non coeliac. We enjoyed it so much we booked again for our second night in Firenze.

Food was delicious and on point for what the restaurant offers. if you're coeliac you will be in gluten free heaven. If you're not, you'll still walk away 100% satisfied.

The food at this 100% gluten free restaurant is magnificent. My coeliac husband and me as a non -coeliac thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. Excellent service as well.

TAGLIOLINO AL TARTUFO FRESCO was butter pasta I could have made at home. The truffles didn’t have any flavor and the tagliolino was over cooked. The pasta with octopus was perfect. Red sauce a little salty. House Chianti was great!

The food was amazing. The texture of the pasta chased a memory of perfect handmade pasta before I was gluten-free.

Dine in for the gluten free menu. The best sandwiches. There are so many choices with the best bread. We came back the next day to takeaway a sandwich for the train. If there is a line it is worth the wait or go in and order takeaway at the register.

The food was exquisite! It's really rare to have so much choice of gluten-free food, and the food that we had tasted amazing. The waiters were also very friendly and attentive.

Excellent GF food. Inventive dishes with the highest quality ingredients. It was a must for us to enjoy dinner a Sgrano on our Florence trip.

Excellent service, drinks and food. We shared a vegetable charcuterie board- fabulous. The GF bread is like nothing I’ve eaten so soft and delicious. We had the spaghetti tartufo- highly recommend. Tartagellia porcini, ravioli with boar Ragu and the spaghetti with sweet pepper cream and guanciale. Dessert was tiramisu- phenomenal and I’m not usually a fan of tiramisu. The Sgrano restaurants were a life saver. If in Florence go at least once. The desserts alone are incredible.

100 percent gluten free. Large menu, delicious sour dough bread. We were too full for dessert but the house cheesecake with berries looked amazing. Highly recommend the crostini appetizer.

I am celiac and saw the raving reviews about this restaurant, so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The gluten free bread with the meat and cheese selection was good, but the gnocchetti was quite bad. The pasta was overcooked and the “sauce” was a bland lump of unevenly cut tomatoes. The service was also not great. I have seen that the take out sandwiches at the other location are good, so maybe I will try that and see if we just made an error sitting down to eat here.

Unfortunately the pasta was so thick it was disgusting. The raviolo and tortellini were unable to be cut with a knife and it was inedible. We managed to eat some of the middle but it was unpleasant. We were really looking forward to it and were very disappointed
