We ate at Shahi Dhaba on our recent visit to Toulouse. Our waiter was very helpful, and he spoke excellent English. The food was excellent, and the menu included an impressive choice of vegetarian options. I highly recommend this restaurant.

In my view it was over rated. The lentil dish is nice but over priced. The service was very slow we are waited for around 45 min for the food. To summarize nice food little expensive. Not five stars as I see in.other reviews

We had a very enjoyable experience. The service was superb, the spicing and flavour of the food was perfect. The only reasons I haven’t given 10 out of 10 were, the food was served in cold dishes so it lost its temperature and I asked if the Beef Vindaloo could be made with Chicken (normally find beef is chewy). I was told it could but it still came out as beef. Otherwise I would definitely recommend and will certainly visit again.

We love this restaurant (2nd visit). The food is very tasty, there is a good choice for vegetarian (we are) and the prices are correct. It’s not a large place, book if you want to have a table as it is always full for dinner.

We made a reservation for 10 and they were able to add an other person on the spot. The restaurant was cosy, clean and the service was super. We really liked the food and the wines!

The "staff" consisted of one very engaging guy "Vincent" who is Indian, but speaks five languages, and very good English. The dinner for two at 60 euro was a good way to go. nice selection. glad we heard him mention "prawns" due to wife's shellfish allergy. They made a special Naan to her order with minced raisins which was tasty, All the food was fine, but could use a little more coconut milk in the base. Had a good value Indian cab that was good table wine. Vincent had six tables, and was a dervish of activity, but still found time to chat a little even while the owner "hovered" by the kitchen door. They're lucky to have this guy.

Really good Indian food, can be spicy as per your taste. Ambiance is good, and they respect the deals given by the fork as well. I totally recommend this place.
