9/10Visited on a Tuesday evening, it was busy which is always a good sign. Attentive service and interesting menu; we ordered 4 Meze starters, all very nice, which we shared, resulting in 4 very clean plates. Main’s were generally good; I had the mixed kebab which was excellent - well cooked, excellently seasoned and accompaniments accentuated well. My eating companions were a little mixed; two good dishes and one not so (although more a reflection of their palate I suspect).

10/10Every time I visit Sham, it never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious. I would recommend the royal menu for two so you can have a taste of everything! Service is wonderful! Love it ⭐️

9.5/10Quaint restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere in Amsterdam. The food was very tasty and the service was very good. My wife and I decided on the Sham Deal so we could taste a little bit of several dishes they served and it did not disappoint. The salad was very good, we enjoyed most of the mazas and the skewers were outstanding. We would definitely return to this establishment if we're ever in Amsterdam again.

Super delicious food, kebabs were so smoky, flavourful and tender. Mezze was great especially Hummus. Staff is very polite, welcoming and professional. A must for eating Middle Eastern food in Amsterdam

+3The dinner was to introduce a friend to Syrian cuisine. Sham West was an excellent introduction. My friend loved the food. He also commented on the ambience - that it was almost like being in the Middle East. Everything was fresh and flavourful. Service was pleasant and efficient even if the restaurant was full. The only minus point was that the regular menu wasn't available. Only large Iftar set menus were available. We were unable to finish our meals. Fortunately the kind staff readily agreed to pack the rest for us.

Had nice dinner by Yums Foods were nice , staffs are friendly We actually wanted to have meze special ( 9 dishes ) , wines & several sweets, because we love meze. Yet we were told that dinner by Yums need is to choose course menu, which we didn’t know. We didn’t want to because too much for us but accepted. After all,we couldn’t finish all foods which was not nice & couldn’t enjoy at the last moment, had no space to enjoy sweets or coffee/tee anymore which was pity. It would be nice that we could choose what we want to have even though by Yums

Excellent!! First experience of Syrian food .... wow. Staff looked after us and made it special for our daughter's birthday. Fantastic food and excellent service. Would definitely go back. Can highly recommend it.

This restaurant serves amazing food and has very friendly staff. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam! Been here twice and once in their other location in Oost. And will continue to come back, no doubt!
