The food was average. The rice portion was quite small and expensive for what was served. The service was fine, and the staff were friendly and courteous, but the basement atmosphere was not very appealing.

They offer a 50% discount for The Fork users, but the truth is they have a separate menu for those bookings and raise the prices. I have to say the food was okay, but I find this practice dishonest on the restaurant’s part.

Not as flavorful as we expected, except for the lamb rogan josh which was good, most of the dishes lack salt and spices, also prices are really high for the size of the portions, I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have the discount from the fork.

The food is ok, but the price for rice and bang is too expensive. A bowl of rice charged €8 which is the highest one we knew at Madrid.

Food of a very high standard. Prawn puree and onion bhaji starters were cooked well and presented. Chicken Madras very flavoursome as was the Chicken Vindaloo, however this was spicier than expected, could argue spiced as a Tindaloo! Very good food, would recommend.

I’ve made a reservation at Shampan Indian restaurant in Madrid with the fork with 50% discount. Once we got there, I was very surprised to realize that the restaurant has 2 differents QR code menu. If you come with a fork reservation you have a QR code menu with inflated price of 50%. And if you come without a booking you have another QR code menu with the “normal” prices. This is totally illegal, and this is a scam.

The food was amazing, the waiter helped us get the best value and was very kind. We loved it, only thing was that there was no air conditioner.

Bread, rice and desserts are not part of The fork discount. Please take note. And they are NOT CHEAP for the rice and bread. €5 for a small portion. Food taste was amazing nonetheless. The lamb shank was for sure worth it. About 5-6 small pieces of chicken for each order. Naan orders are not 4 pieces, but really only 1 cut up into 4.

My wife and I often go to this restaurant. Hassan and team always treat us really well and the quality of the food is very good. They have done a great job with the decoration both upstairs and downstairs.

Great service and tasty food. I ordered the set menu and my wife used the Fork's discount. I doubt I would ever order rice or nan without the promotional discount however because both were extremely pricey. The service was so good that I would recommend the restaurant.

Higher prices than other indian restaurants. Furthermore the got two different set of prices depends on if you are a fork customer or not... I didn't expect this on a restaurant with extremely good reviews.

It was amazing. The food was really good and tasty! Would definitely recommend going there. However I thought the garlic naan was a bit too oily. But this was the only thing that “bothered” me.
