4.5/10Really poor service. Took more than 30 minutes to clear plates away after the main course. They forgot to bring our sweet course and when reminded, did not remember our order. Food was OK but overpriced for the quality.

10/10Warm welcome on arrival for my husband's 60th birthday. The food was beautifully presented and tasted extremely good especially the prawn tempura with asparagus and chicken teriyaki. All staff were attentive and friendly and provided great service we highly recommend this restaurant.

8.5/10Great Japanese food in the heart of a ski resort. Lovely staff who accommodated my request for an earlier table on a busy night which was much appreciated and the food quality was excellent with a wide ranging menu. The 2 downsides were the strong sewer smell in the foyer which was a bit overwhelming and that the mixed sushi platter I ordered which came with chefs selection of 5 had only 3 different basic tuna/salmon flavours which was a bit disappointing as I was hoping to try 5 different things from the large menu. Overall we certainly enjoyed and would come back.

10/10Delicous Japanese food made with excellent ingredients and lots of care. We loved the Chef’s selection of sushi and nigrini, as well as the edamame and chicken gyoza.

5.5/10The starters - Kimchi and crispy ebi shrimps were very good. For main course we chose “the chefs sushi experience “. We were left with the impression that it came out of the fridge and was not made to order. Ice cold and dry rice and “tired” fish - apart from the salmon that was really good. Sorry !

9.5/10We loved our dinner at Shogun - it was our first night in Zermatt. The food, service and wine were excellent - sushi quality and menu were also great. We would go back and recommend others to dine at Shogun!

2/10Terrible. Slow, piecemeal delivery of food, cold, no taste, terrible value. $50USD for the scallop dinner. 3 small, barely warm scallops and 3 small sushi size pieces of whitefish. That’s it. Nothing more to the meal. They even tried to charge me $75 for a single glass of wine. Said it was a mistake. Should have been $10. Total bill for 7 was $610. Not worth $100. Do not walk away, run!
