Veggie ramen was tasty but egg was overcooked and the only veg was bamboo shoot. Pretty basic for the high price. Everything was just satisfactory but again given the price we expected better.

Unfresh fish. Nothing to do with quality sushi. Overpriced. Gioyza were good. Nothing more.

Everything about the restaurant was fabulous. The food was divine and so was our waitress Janet.

Unfortunately no Tofu Teryiaki, no Vegetable Tempura, no Seaweedsalad :-( But Service was very polite and Sparkling and hot Sake were good :-)

We had a really great meal at Shogun. The food was super fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive, and everything came out at a good pace. Nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended — we’ll be back.

I absolutely loved both the service and the food — I consider it the best sushi in Zermatt! The service perfectly matches the quality of the sushi, with friendliness and attention to every detail. An impeccable experience from start to finish. I will definitely come back. Thank you!

The portions were big ( even the starters). Everything was well prepared and very delicious. We had edamame and ebi tempura as starters and salmon teriyaki and Swiss beef as main dish. We ordered in addition 1 fried rice, which was delicious but there was no need for it as the portions were large. The teriyaki sauce was so good! The service was prompt , no waiting time. The restaurant’s design seems like an attempt to mix Japanese and Swiss design … so not much ambience ( we loved the Japanese part and were not impressed by the Swiss wooden chairs design). Today is our last day in Zermaty, but if we ever go back, we’d go back for dinner at Shogun again

Friendly employees, Great and delicious food and cousins. Chef was really considering the guest who was coming from. So, we have a great time in there.

Really poor service. Took more than 30 minutes to clear plates away after the main course. They forgot to bring our sweet course and when reminded, did not remember our order. Food was OK but overpriced for the quality.

Warm welcome on arrival for my husband's 60th birthday. The food was beautifully presented and tasted extremely good especially the prawn tempura with asparagus and chicken teriyaki. All staff were attentive and friendly and provided great service we highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Japanese food in the heart of a ski resort. Lovely staff who accommodated my request for an earlier table on a busy night which was much appreciated and the food quality was excellent with a wide ranging menu. The 2 downsides were the strong sewer smell in the foyer which was a bit overwhelming and that the mixed sushi platter I ordered which came with chefs selection of 5 had only 3 different basic tuna/salmon flavours which was a bit disappointing as I was hoping to try 5 different things from the large menu. Overall we certainly enjoyed and would come back.

Delicous Japanese food made with excellent ingredients and lots of care. We loved the Chef’s selection of sushi and nigrini, as well as the edamame and chicken gyoza.

The starters - Kimchi and crispy ebi shrimps were very good. For main course we chose “the chefs sushi experience “. We were left with the impression that it came out of the fridge and was not made to order. Ice cold and dry rice and “tired” fish - apart from the salmon that was really good. Sorry !
