We were recommended Silkolu restaurant by the staff at the apartment we were staying at. The food and wine were excellent. I had pasta and my husband had the seared tuna - his best meal in the entire 10 days spent in Sicily.

The food was fresh and good, the staff friendly and quite attentive. The place is clean and nice but nothing special. The only negative thing is that the prices are a bit high compared to other restaurants that offer the same dishes at lower prices. However, we liked it and maybe we will come back.

The website and seafood display lobster prominently which it turns out is Canadian. Surely the bounty of the sea should be in the forefront along with local vegetables and ingredients. Simply not very interesting cooking or menu and on the evening we were there it was all tourists. There are better options in Catania.

when we came,the waiter said that kitchen is closed. So we were shocked.He gave us a table in front of the door.Door were opened and the whole restaurant was empty.Food was very delicious , we didnt wait long for food. Restaurant havent paper menu only QR code menu.We were shocked and surprised when the restaurant charged us for setting the table 4€ per person also the infant.

Food is good. One of the impressive things is the waiter that served me. He deserves to be called a big man. He controls the entire hall to flow cozy with harmony, and every table to feel satisfied. That is my opinion. but I had a great time.

For a highly rated restaurant we expected a better food and service however I was so disappointed by taking the other half to this place instead of other ones for his birthday. Hands on heart the risotto was the poorest one I have ever had, the ratio of rice to the seafood was 5 to 1 so I left with a pile of rice wasted on the plate also so taste less. The starter was OK and my other half main course fish was too. The dessert was tasty but a bit stale.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Catania. Everything is at a very high level - service, atmosphere, beautiful decoration… And of course, the most important and impressive thing is the food. Everything I’ve tasted was absolutely perfect - the platter of raw seafood, pasta with mussels and pistachio cake. All of this - very fresh and delicious. Great experience when visiting Catania. I highly recommend.

The food was really good. Catalina had a lot of places that serve seafood, but the best meal we had was in these place. Together with the service that was excellent. I would recommend to everyone to come and eat here. They were kind, helpful and attentive.
