Really good food and lovely service!

Had high hopes from reviews but nothing special; maybe as I am from UK where Indian cuisine is common I have had much better. Was seated on time but waited 15mins for a menu and service probably due to a large table of 18 people.

Second time we came and it is still good. Very nice and interesting tastes.

Food was great, service outstanding and the atmosphere charming. We decided on the chef's and left unbelievable full. Unfortunately, we had to wait over half an hour extra for our reserved table but we could enjoy some wine by the canal in the meantime.

I had a fantastic 40th bday celebration at the restaurant! It was my first time there, and I was blown away by the warm-hearted service and delicious food. The simple ambience added to the cozy feel. The service team did amazing. One thing-I'm sorry we didn't ask permission bfore bringing in a small bite cake 😊

Staff was super friendly. Restaurant is cute and cozy. Food was really good! Everything we ordered had a lot of flavor and full of spices. We liked it a lot.

Was here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The food was super tasty and the employees really friendly! Only downside was that we were sitting all the way in the back where the acoustics were really bad. And when a large group came sit next to us there was just too much noise. We asked for another table and we got placed somewhere else. All in all had a great evening there and tasted allot of delicious little dishes. Definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time at Silk Road. Great for vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. The food was amazing and the staff could have not been nicer. Lovely to hear the restaurant’s family story. Highly recommend!

The service was great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food was ok. A bit bland for my taste. Nothing really stood out. But I like the fact that we could order small plates and that gave us the opportunity to order and try lots of dishes. and its by the canal and the weather was perfect for sitting outside.

1st of all a very attentive staff. We have been late 30minutes ( again my apologies) and we have been called. I didn’t hear my phone, it was forgotten on silent. When we arrived despite our delay and not answering their call we had a very warm welcoming! The staff is genuinely nice and kind ! Many thanks ! And many thanks to the chef : very nice food ! I highly recommend it, these guys deserve it ! THANK YOU

Really loved the ambience and food. Just one suggestion- Your vegetarian can be more versatile with more of tofu and soya options.

Wow... always wow, never boring. Silk Road has become one of my favourite restaurants in Utrecht. Nice and motivated people, paying attention to their customers. Don't miss it!

The staff were absolutely lovely and very attentive. The food was delicious as well. The concept is vert refreshing and provides a variety of different tastes that all work together very well. All around an wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Utrecht for the service and atmosphere, and the food is very unique, but if anyone from the management is reading this, please can you bring back the original plain hummus, as it was one of the highlights of this restaurant and now the only one on offer is too sweet and tastes almost identical to the aubergine dip. Also I miss the 3 types of dolma (this was actually my favourite thing on the whole menu...sad that it has been removed... now there are only the stuffed vine leaves which you can find elsewhere.... miss the stuffed aubergine and paprika...thanks:))

We were with a group of 5 and I must say, we all had a great time! Not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant was very cosy and the staff was overly kind, welcoming and attentive. Thank you for having us!

had a lovely evening, but unfortunately the noise levels inside the restaurant are too loud to hear your conversation partner. food was phenomenal but portions are small (and cheap!), so don't be afraid to order 5-7 dishes at once. entirely no clue why one would serve rasmalai with a laddoo on top--two entirely different desserts with different textures, flavor profiles, etc that really don't go together. service was good, but quite difficult to get the attention of the server (seemed like one server was covering 10 or so tables). worth the experience at least once, and excellent value for money--just be aware that the ambience is not particularly private or sophisticated.

the food is very good. We tried the chef's menu and I believe it was great value for money. About the service: they were very friendly, attentive and always had a smile on their faces, which is not common in the vast majority of restaurants in the Netherlands - we will return without a doubt
