2.5/10Definitely NOT recommended. Bad and undercooked food, service was worse. No Menu was offered for 45mins, even after having a booking, which we have to find on our own. No one came to take the order, we had to walk to the bar reception and give it. After waiting for more than an hour, undercooked food was offered. When we gave feedback to the chef, he asked to leave a review.

6/10The food was okay when it arrived (next door’s table looked better!) but it took 30 mins to get drunk and we had to chase up our food twice before it finally arrived 45 minutes later. We had ordered a sharing mixed player starter to be brought with the mains but this wasn’t included. By this time though, we had stopped feeling hungry and were just ready to leave. Staff and service was friendly and apologetic, so maybe we just went on the wrong night but we won’t be going back.

4.5/10The food was ok but average and unimaginative. It took forever to be served. It took 20 minutes from the moment we sat down before we gave our first drinks order, and another 20 minutes to get our drinks. It took another 15/20 minutes before we could even place our order for main course, then 35 minutes before the food came. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:10 and didn’t leave the restaurant until 22:00. Noteably the main waiter who served us was very nice and accommodated my request to change seats when our corner became too noisy and gave us the best table, and a free slice of brownie with birthday candle at the end of the meal (which we did not ask for but was a sweet gesture). He was clearly struggling with trying to manage the restaurant nearly on his own. His colleage/fellow waiter was not much help as he misunderstood us several times. I’m not sure why this restaurant gets such high scores. The menu choices are ok but not spectacularly imaginative, The service needs work,

8.5/10Lamb chops were too dry and it seems that they forgot my husband's food because he received it first when we asked and I was almost ready with lamb madras (which was very tasty). Naan bread also very tasty. The staff could be better organised but they were very nice).

6/10The floor was dirty after the latest party, but was, though, cleaned when we asked for it. The food wasn't of the standard that other reviews had let us to believe – quite standard. But over all OK.

3.5/10We went to Sizz based on other reviews and were pretty disappointed. First, they tried to charges me a different amount from my bill. Almost no apology when I asked with the payment machine was showing a different amount. The food had no real taste, I’m not even talking about the spicy level which was almost inexistent. All in all, it was a disappointing experience and definitely wonder if some people get a different treatment as we went during off peak hours and got the -50% off from The Fork. Also in terms of price, this was way too expensive if we didn’t have -50% off.

6/10The chicken wings & mango lassi were tasty. The spice levels of the food at Sizz are low, it is aimed at people who prefer mild Indian food. The service could also be improved. Our food was ready to be served and stood on the kitchen counter for 5 min as there was no server free to bring it to us.

8.5/10The waitres was the best! She was energetic and welcoming. She was helpfull in choosing the best option for me and my friend on the menu. A friend told us about this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. Would definitely eat here again and try something else.

6.5/10Food lacking flavour in general so a bit disappointing, although the chicken arrived sizzling which was nice. Friendly service but hard to get attention to order a second drink and one of the dishes was not as described in menu- this was corrected though.

10/10My friend and I had a wonderful time at Sizz. Food was delicious and service was very good, although our wait for our main course was slightly on the high side of over an hour but our chicken dishes were definitely worth the wait. Would highly recommend!!

For me this is the best Indian restaurant in Amsterdam. It’s very comfortable inside, the staff are all very professional and friendly but the best is, that the food is incredible.. Everything is freshly made and tastes delicious.

We are visiting from Orange County where it is home to some authentic Indian food. We came across these reviews of this restaurant and they were spot on. We had the Vindaloo King Prawns, Aloo benghain, and garlic naan. The portions were just right for us but we don’t eat that much. The garlic naan was a bit small for what we were used to. The flavors were excellent, not over salted and the spice level was no joke but in a good way!
