The ambience is amazing, truly something you dont see every day and the playlist slaps too. The waiter that served us made it all so much fun, I especially liked the trick with the receipt ;)

Food was delicious. Ambience was perfect, it exactly reminded of the Celtic times, they were all wearing ancient clothes. The waitress was so sweet, the bartender only spoke English and never smiled

We really enjoyed our traditional meal. The staff were great in explaining the menu and other parts of the meal. One of our favorite dining experiences in Stockholm. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and good service. The food is bit pricey but well worth the cost. The only problem we had was the it was quite warm inside. Otherwise perfect.

Delicious food, fantastic service and suggestive atmosphere. Everything was perfect at an affordable price. Strong recommended if you’re looking for a nice dinner experience in a different and interesting place.

Nice ambience, when we showed up to our reservation we received no acknowledgment from the staff for 10-15 min so we left

we were worried that it would be a tourist trap, but we were pleasantly surprised. While you get a very nice medieval experience, the food is really delicious, with big portions, quality ingredients and excellent service. I truly recommend it!

The food is elevated medieval (i.e. more ingredients and therefore, much tastier flavors) but no complaints! The food is delicious and the dining experience is very medieval --- no forks and you use the table cloth as your napkin! The restaurant is also set in a basement/cellar, so the ambience is on point. The only reason I didn't give it the full 10 points is because the lighting is a bit too dim that it was difficult to read the menu.

The server was really in character and it added so much to the whole dining experience. The food was really tasty. Only thing to note is that it gets quite warm in there so do consider the clothes you wear. But I would definitely visit again!

Very kind waiter and waitress! We waited for the food a while, but worth it! Had lamb and rice with asparagus, which were very well done. The atmosphere and the whole setting inside was also nice and deserved to be visited! Thanks!

Wonderfully enthusiastic waiter who really added to the medieval ambience. The food was quite unusual but delicous nevertheless, and the wine of the day very reasonable.. Great value all round.

Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. Despite reading previous experiences, I wanted to see for myself. However, I had to go to another restaurant to eat. There's a lot of potential, but it's not there yet.

Amazing service. We tried everything on the menu. The duck breast and venison steak were amazing! Definitely recommend dining here then going to their drinking bar next door.

Restaurant was recommended to us by Stockholm locals as a fantastic place for a true Nordic experience. The atmosphere is perfect with fur seats and raw steel cutlery, if not a little dark, and the music was fitting for the Viking aesthetic. The service, however, was poor. We were ignored by the bartender at the entry until his discussion in Baulders Gate III was interrupted and when we did reach our table we found that nearly 20 tables were being seen to be a single waiter acting as the host and bus boy for his section. Our order was lost in the scrum and the drinks requested were mistaken, conflicting with allergy requests, and the food that did arrive was not well explained in the menu as it was food disguised as fruit. The mead was tasty and the bit of appetizer I had was fine, but the bread serving was slow and meager and after over 95 minutes I called it quits and cashed out. Hopefully they get additional staff, because the heart is there, but not the muscle.

This was an interesting place to visit, dark and atmospheric . We were greeted warmly and taken to our table . People at another table that we couldn't see were playing mediaeval type music which helped with the atmosphere. The food was good and tasty

Our group loved this place! The mead was amazing and they had lots to pick from. The menu changes seasonally, but they have options to pick for everyone and not a lot so it’s not overwhelming. I would highly recommend visiting them.

Wonderfully decorated tavern with a medieval theme. Waitstaff are in costume, and the food is fantastic. The wild boar meatballs are delicious.

The atmosphere and service were superb, as a lover of all things medieval it was a treat. However, and I am not sure if this was intentional, the food was really really really salty, so the experience wasn't ideal, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Servings were a bit small for the cost, but tasty. Lovely atmosphere but some music would have been nice. Too expensive for what we got.

Fantastic meal. The pâté was spectacular,! I loved the spread of butter cheese and cognac. My first Meade ( Ligon berry “ I loved . The lamb with the root vegetable pies was tender and fabulous. I left stuffed

The restaurant was cosy and the food was really good. Loved all the various mead options. The only suggested improvement is that the music was only in one room (and not where we sat). It would have improved the experience for us all if some music was available throughout the restaurant even if it was recorded.

This had been a place i had wanted to go for a long time. The waitstaff was friendly and engaged, the food was delicious and filling, and the decor was unique!

Absolute recommendation when you visit Stockholm and and even if you live there, since it’s not only about the nice and different experience, but also delicious and original dishes!

An absolute must go (at least once) spot in Stockholm. Not only is the ambiance and food great but the mead selection alone is worth stopping by for.
