We always receive a warm welcome when we have lunch or dinner at Sociedade. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The food is delicious and always prepared with a twist.

Unfortunately two of the fishes I went there for were not on the menu that day. We came at 19:30. The fishes we took instead were OK, but not special. However the bacalhau (main dish) et choco frito were very good and freshly made. We did not like that there was no drinks card (wine and water) with prices.

The food was ok but overpriced for what it was, and I guess I was hoping for something that wasn't just another anonymous hipster joint in the bairro alto - my mistake. I guess the place has a clear target customer base, which are digital nomads - the staff doesn't speak Portuguese and they asked us to leave after an hour an a half, which is fine if the business model is having a higher rotation of customers than a traditional joint, but it would have been nice to know before letting us order the second bottle of wine.

We loved the mix traditional food with a twist! The service was attentive and fun! Will be back next week to try other dishes as the outdoor area is very fresh 👌

The food, wine and service are excellent, run by two brothers (and sometimes their mother) who are always very hospitable. We've been many times and regularly recommend it to friends.

Food is ok, some creative dishes, and veggie options. But, for me, what made this experience unique was the service. And our boss loved it. 😊 Overall, I’m sure we will be back.

Reservation, all the rest was a disaster. After being led to the table , after 20 minutes I've had to go and pick the menu. After more 10 minutes no waiter come to us. Ending this waiting period we have decided to leave, no waiter noticed. It was not our first time in the restaurant, but it was the last.

Being a solo traveler, I am always worried about where to go without feeling out of place. Well, I’m glad I found Sociedade Parede for dinner last night. Brothers Carlos and Nuno are exceptionally warm and friendly hosts. When I was brought a delicious plate of garlicky buttery shrimp, Nuno said “At home we eat this with our hands. This is your home, Gerald, so it’s ok to eat with your hands.” That was more than enough to make me feel welcomed.. On top of that, the place has a relaxed vibe, great food, great playlist of eclectic mix of music genres. The other problem being a solo traveler is not having others to share plates with. Solution to that problem is a happy one: I will return later this week!

Good food and drink in an interesting environment. Music slightly too loud and upbeat. Starter and main excellent. Dessert (deconstructed cheesecake) a little strange. No wine list, so remember to ask the prices to avoid a surprise in the bill.

Food quality is so worth it! It is a nice place, totally unexpected in regards to location and decoration. Really want to go back soon and try the rest of the menu.

I really like this small restaurant. It's a typical Portuguese modern restaurant, which applies creativity to the menu but keeping it's loyalty to our popular cuisine. The owners are always there, serving and advising you on food and wine, and the price / quality ratio is very good. With your partner or a small group of friends, it's top.

I love this place. Come there ready to relax and enjoy your food, drinks and the company you're with. The waiters are just lovely and the food is excellent! Really great vibe too... I always feel so happy when I am there!

The food is fresh and the chef is innovative, taking traditional Portuguese cuisine to new and exciting levels. A wonderful local restaurant with a relaxed ambiance, great food and wine. I highly recommend.

This is a neighborhood restaurant for us and we are so thrilled. It’s a terrific place for drinks with friends over small bites or even a nice evening meal but best of all is the atmosphere and excellent playlist. Owners Nuno and Carlos are personable and friendly. We love it here

This restaurant was a good find - nice atmosphere, good food and great service. We ordered some starters to try different things and the ribs are a must eat while bear in mind that the potatoes can be quite spicy (not for someone who does not eat any spicy food). Overall would definitely go back and as said - the people working there were very friendly and welcoming. so we left as happy customers.

Great local restaurant. My favorite place to go and to meet up with friends. The daily lunch menu is always fresh and original in conception. You can beat such wonderful food for this price!
