Nice quiet and classy dinner ambience!

I normally don’t leave reviews but for this place I have to. The food was exceptional, the ingredients were incredibly fresh and the waitstaff is very attentive. Also, the place is beautiful! We went a couple of times when we were in Lecce and tried different dishes, all delicious including the sushi (one of the best I’ve tasted) and the amazing tiramisu. Definitely a must if you are in Puglia!

Lovely restaurant and attentive staff. Maybe more vegetarian options on the menu would be nice.

We loved the food and wine! There were many good options but we had the snapper and the sirloin, after we had an appertivo (the club sandwich). Such great flavors. Service was a little slow but was great up until the end. We were trying to pay the bill and asked if we could tip since we enjoyed everything, and our waiter responded “we don’t do that in Italy, you just pay the bill” which we found fairly rude. I’ve been to Rome, Milan, and Florence where I’ve always been able to tip. So just a note to not assume that guests haven’t been elsewhere in Italy/around the world or be standoffish when they’re trying to compliment the restaurant.. definitely hurt the vibe a bit.

Lack of information … Turns out the roof top which is why I booked is closed and they did not bother to clarify this for me, When I reached there all the staff could do was try to point out that it was my fault for not noticing when there was no clear indication at the time of my reservation

This was a very unpleasant experience. While planning a trip to Lecce, I booked a table for aperitivo on the rooftop terrace with a view, since this is their main selling point (according to reviews, nothing else was noteworthy). Upon my arrival I was offered a table with no view enclosed on three sides like a cubicle and was told that all tables with a view were booked for groups. When I said that I had booked a table with a view a month ago, I was offered... another table without a view and heard a poker-faced reiteration that all tables with a view were booked for groups, without so much as an apology. I left. If you are looking for a place to have an aperitivo, spare yourself the unpleasant experience and go straight to Alibi (as I did eventually). While not a rooftop, it is just in front of the beautiful Santa Chiara church, the service is incomparably friendlier, and this is where the locals go.

Quite ridiculous - on the website a totally different wine list than in the restaurant. At the restaurant the sommelier says the list on the website is unfortunately outdated. A wine that costs 80€ on the website is now 150€. Sommelier says unfortunately not his fault and cannot go lower. Bad management and poor customer service. We left without having dinner as we wanted to drink one wine specifically. Avoid this place at all cost, typical tourist trap.

Excellent food. Wfe and I had same two dishes, so not much to comment on, but the quality was exceptional. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

On arriva! Staff were busy doing other things. Wine we ordered after 15mins wasn't available so bad to choose more expensive wine. Staff were very unattentive until later when I sent my meal back as Tina wasn't cooked to my preference(although one asked me). No views despite being in roof terrace. Dull and uninviting.. Wouldn't recommend

They didn’t get my reservation and The restaurant opens at 7.30pm, not at 6.30pm as it is written on TripAdvisor. There we got 20% discount but they just give it to us because I show them the confirmation of TripAdvisor. The price was still very high, the food was nothing special, so you pay for a roof view than for food. We were quite disappointed. There are many other restaurants close by that are better.

Very nice rooftop with great views. Food was ok. Nothing special. Service could be better considering this is a 5 Stars hotel ! Too many waiters who don’t pay attention (you have to ask for water twice, same for the check etc)

Pasta were a little bit too al dente but very tasty. Burrata was good but I would have needed salt and pepper which I missed. Summary: very good food, perfect service and beatiful scenery/view at/from the roof top.

Definetly below expectations as it came highly recommended by the Michelin guide. The appetizer (insalata tiepida di seppioline e gamberi) was nothing special. The spaghettoni Benedetto Cavalieri was a good expression of the territory. Overall the food was correct, but not on par with the setting which was beautiful. Wait was way too long, it took us over an hour to get the appetizer and the restaurant was ‘t full.

Lovely upmarket restaurant serving delicious food. We ate in many restaurants in Lecce and whilst not the cheapest this was definitely the best both for quality of food and value and service.

We had a very enjoyable dinner. The service was professional and friendly, although the knowledge of the wines seemed limited. The dishes were all good - a couple really stood out (my wife's wholewheat pasta dish, with fennel flavours, particularly impressed, and seafood starters were very good) and the only one that slightly disappointed was my veal. We had a discount through our booking on The Fork and they applied it without being asked, making the whole dinner really good value. The seats are a little low, and the seats in the bar are terribly uncomfortable (the bar is also too brightly lit, and lacks any atmosphere). The hotel management might want to look at improving the bar. Thank you for a very good dinner, grazie mille!
