9.5/10Servers were exceptionally warm and friendly. Really experienced the best table service in Rome. Food was very good. Had Risotto, filleto di manzo, various pasta. Stock used for risotto could be more flavourful for best results.

7.5/10Located a 5 mins walk from Barberini metro stop. There is outdoor seating and indoors. As it was mid October and it was a chilly night, we sat indoors , first table next to the door. The waitering staff was bizzare- one was apologetic about everything whilst the other was confrontational when we were ordering dishes. We ordered a primi and a main to share. No law against that! The amouse complementary was very nice. Mouth bite. The starters of sea bass ceviche was excellent with the interesting biscuit holding it in. The aubergine pamagiana was very good- battered on the outside , tasted great. The carbonara was somewhat disappointing, over salty, the sauce was ok and the pasta to go with it wasn’t to our liking. The seconding the octopus grill was very good. Tasted nice and crispy . The desert of the lemon with meringue was also excellent with a fantastic base. The dining would have been almost perfect if it was not for the carbonara and odd waitering staff!

10/10The food was innovative and expertly prepared. We particularly liked the risotto with shrimp and the pasta amatriciana. Also the desserts were gourmet delights. We had dinner three times at Sofia during our stay in Rome.

10/10The food was artistically presented and delicious. Our sommelier waiter helped us choose a great new Italian varietal which we loved. We just returned home and this restaurant still lingers as one of the best in our travels.

10/10An exceptional restaurant. We had the price fixed tasting menu. It was amazing. The pasta with the truffles should not be missed. All the dishes were delicious. We would highly recommend it. Service was also great.

10/10Calcio e pepe and the carbonara were so flavorful, so benissimo, we were helpless to stop eating until our plates were bread-mopped clean. This is a meal we will remember for a long time. The staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it was great to dine outside with the energy of the street leading to the Spanish Steps, but being far enough away that it's not too crowded. We're so glad Sofia was part of our trip to Rome!

10/10We were impressed by the really great food and service. The salad named Sophia, the amatriciana, the risotto, the after-meal dessert (tiramisu, lemon tart) and the coffee were perfectly delicious, and I was lucky to be able to eat at a very nice restaurant on the first day in Rome.

10/10Lovely small restaurant with great food. We tried a good selection as it was five of us and all of the dishes were delicious and really well done. Even the tiramisu with chocolate crumble was different and excellent all the same. The service was fantastic also and the place is stylish and not too busy. We had a great table inside, by the window.

10/10The best meal we have had on this trip. I started with the ceviche and followed that with the pasta amatriciana. My husband had the turbot “wellington”. A glass of Prosecco and one of pinot Grigio each - perfect. Charming service & excellent food. Our only regret was that we were not more hungry

10/10A quiet, unbelievably high quality restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. A real find, the food is fresh and delicious, the chef really knows good food. The staff were welcoming, polite and attentive whilst also giving you room to enjoy the excellent food, their recommendations really hit the spot. We can’t thank them enough for the experience and we will definitely be back during our stay!

9.5/10We had great steaks, both kids and adults enjoyed it. They have gluten free pasta and told us they boil the water for it separately.
