Lovely food and staff, but freezing cold.

Food was expensive and the dishes were small. We had the tasting menu and both left still hungry. Food is ok, but not great.

Food is incredible. Dishes are big, you can share most of them and also prices are very good . I visit them very frequently,

The food was wonderful – lots of real Lebanese taste and made with love. From mezze to the main courses, everything was plenty and tasty, and I especially appreciated the fact that they have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The dry white wine Ksara was exceptional. I'm a big fan of dry whites, and this was refreshing and crisp, with a lovely complement to the mezze. It's not often you get decent Lebanese wine in Madrid, so that did make the evening that extra special. The staff were actually very friendly and attentive, which made the entire atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. It was simple to just sit there, eat slowly, and unwind.

Pleasant, welcoming staff began our wonderful meal at Sol de Beirut. Each dish (falafel, fatouch salad and hummus) was presented well, fresh ingredients and great flavors. We’ll be back…

The dishes are ridiculously overpriced given the portion size and quality. The fattouch was basically a side dish, really tiny, and instead of fried pita chips they just covered it with one large fried pita half, which made it both unappetizing and messy to eat. The meat arayes were soggy, bland, and falling apart. I'm actually in disbelief at the low quality, and wondering if it has anything to do with the timing. Although it was a last minute reservation, it was accepted by the restaurant, but the host who greeted me had a permanent smirk and acted like he was doing me a favor by letting me dine there. I had to ask for water multiple times because the glass was tiny and taken up with gigantic ice cubes. All in all a gigantic waste of money. Biggest disappointment in Madrid thus far.

Very good food in a nice setting with very friendly waiters who spoke both Spanish and English. The menu offers a variety of delicious options. Will definitely be back!
