We were there on Valentines evening. I always wanted to try Sol El Luna because its in my street. The food was ice cold and seemed like it had been in a fridge for 2 days. The paella was VERY disappointing and looked nothing like the one people ordered “a la cart”. The waiters new nothing about the food and would put dishes down and say something like “this is the potato thing”. It seemed like complete chaos. I will not recommend it to anyone. Big pity !

The food portions compared to what we paid was too small. There was valentine days menu that costs 50 euros but it was definitely not worth it. Food was delicious and atmosphere was good but they overpriced it. I left hungry from the restaurant and it is not a gooe feeling after paying 50 euros per person. Also, their waiters and waitresses were not very trained in my opinion. They were on hurry to pick up empty plates immediately and not in one time which made having a conversation impossible. I tried but I would never go again.

Lovely restaurant! We tried a few of the meat tapas with a bottle of white wine and it was beautiful. To finish we was recommended the cheese cake, which didn’t disappoint, and I would highly recommend! Thanks, jay.

Don’t go for the paella – it’s expensive, with barely any seafood. The food isn’t good. Better to eat at home.

Excellent staff. Service was fabulous. We ordered the garlic butter shrimp and the Spanish chorizo along with some bread. Just had a really good time overall.

the food was truly lovely . The Tapas choices interesting ... the service was very very polite ...but could be a bit " sharper " ...but yes I will return ...🥂🌷🌷🌷

The food was really good. The staff were friendly, but often took a very long time to catvh their attention so we could order more drinks or extra food etc.

We were in 6 people and the food was just great! Maybe there could be more juice options for kids but that was not a problem at all.

Ate here twice this week. Food is excellent. We particularly enjoyed the lamp chops and the mancheco. Would have preferred traditional wine glasses. Definitely worth a side trip. Great food well prepared.

AMAZING! It’s very difficult to find something that I didn’t like of this place: - Small and cozy environment - Super tasty food (the pulpo is highly recommended) - Not expensive and generous portions Me and my gf will come back 100%

Service was a bit slow and they were out of sangria at 7 pm, but food was good and the place was nice.

Unfortunately I did not get a candle for my partners birthday on the cake desert we ordered. But for the rest this is to be recommended!

Food was good but out of 5 dishes of pescado, 2 were not available and it was only 19:30 on a Sunday (and we were told only after having ordered). We reserved with 50% off through the App hence price wise was really convenient. Honestly for full price maybe it would not be 100% worth it. Nice atmosphere, not the Spanish tapas bar you would expect.

Excellent food and service! The entrecote was fantastic with such a tasy sauce. Also highly recommend the mussels! Will definitely return again.

The food was not good considering price. Tortilla VERY dry, pulp was good but portion very small. Gambas al ajillo only four per dish… Small portions and high price

The food and service were amazing. The all-you-can-eat portions were generous, and the staff was super helpful in selecting the best combos. The cocktails were tangy and flavorful with just the right amount of alcohol to get us tipsy but not drunk. From the moment we walked in until we left, the warm welcome and farewell made us feel right at home. I'm definitely recommending this place to all food lovers who enjoy a cozy atmosphere for dinner and drinks with friends.

It was an amazing evening in de pijp at Sol El Luna. I am Tapas lover and I must say this is the best tapas restaurant in Amsterdam. The quality & taste of Patatas Bravas & the Gambas Al Ajillo were amazing. Highly recommended.
