Service was really slow and they didn’t even get our order correct! We complained and their excuse was they had a wedding event the night previous so the staff were tired! Not our problem let’s be honest, expected more however food was at least edible. Will not be coming back though

Lovely traditional style restaurant great service (as it was early 5.30pm we had whole restaurant to ourselves ) Had 3 courses and the Food was very good and well presented , would return if in the area again

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and it never changes apart from different staff. The building is amazing, with vaulted ceilings, a great cocktail/drinks bar and quality oozes throughout. The choices of food are terrific and the different steaks are, without doubt, some of the best around. Service is also outstanding. All this at very sensible prices. (The toilet facilities are also immaculate.). One of our favourite restaurants on this area.

Fabulous food, outstanding service and beautiful surroundings make this a great place to eat. Value for money is excellent. Try the Rodizio if you’re REALLY hungry, it’s delicious as are all the different steaks. Definitely one not to miss.

We first found Solar Das Oliveiras in August 2023 by pure chance. My wife noticed it on the way back to our villa which we were staying at on the first night of our holiday. As we drove past in a taxi she said " that looks nice with all the lights outside, we should try it out" Next night we did. Sat outside and it was lovely. Food was superb. Both had steaks which were delicious. Lovely desserts and nice cocktails. We went back twice more that holiday. This year August 2024 visited another 2 times. Try the Rodizio it's delicious and good value for money. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They make you feel really welcome. Great food, staff, atmosphere. What more could you want

It was easy to book and the waiter that greeted us was lovely and took us to our table. He was very attentive and we ordered drinks and food. The restaurant started to get busier and the staff were working over multiple areas. There were tables indoor, outdoor and people at the bar area. Our food arrived with another waitress. No-one asked if we wanted anything else e.g. sauces, or any more drinks. When we finished again no-one came over, we weren't offered dessert menus. We had to go and find a staff member to get the bill. It is a nice restaurant with a varied menu. Just let down by the service that night.

This was our second time at Solar das Oliveiras, once for lunch and then a dinner. There is enough of a selection from either menu. Oven braised octopus with potatoes for me, and Sea Bass for my spouse. Both were cooked to perfection and tasty. Service was exceptional as expected. More impressed was that our bill with a small bottle of vinho Branco came trip just €50 without desserts or coffee. We were full from the meals and couvert. We're here in Albufeira for another two weeks and we know we're coming back for another visit.
