4/10They messed up our drinks and expected to charge us regardless. Had to argue till they replaced them. Food ok but staff not portoghese. If you are looking for typical portoghese food then go somewhere else

We’re sorry you chose to argue rather than enjoy your meal. Even after receiving a 50% discount, you still disrespected the food and our staff’s effort. Many of our guests who come with discounts actually tell us the food is so good they would happily pay the full price — quite the opposite of your opinion. Yes, in the service area we don’t have Portuguese staff, but they are professional, kind, and work hard every day to serve fresh, authentic Portuguese dishes that most guests truly appreciate. If this was not the experience you were looking for, perhaps another place would suit you better.

Absolutely incredible experience at Solar de Alfama! The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and authentic, and the service was just perfect. Our waiter was outstanding friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend this place if you want an unforgettable Lisbon evening!

+2This is a truly special place with the best food we have had in Lisbon! We arrived early—before they opened—and they welcomed us and the chef himself even walked us to our table upstairs! We started with a complimentary taste of white port-delicious. The cheese platter was wonderful with candied persimmons and homemade pumpkin jam. My husband had the bream, which was a large flavorful dish with many different kinds of seafood and rice. I had the mushroom appetizer and they were spectacular—enough for an entree! The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Anu, our gracious server, had to pack our leftovers to takeaway because the portions were so generous. But we still enjoyed the homemade tiramisu for dessert.

+1It was a perfect birthday night! The staff very nice and customer focused. Food can be described in one word: DELICIOUS! We tasted as starter a shrimp soup, than cataplana plus grilled octopus with very good roasted potatoes! Last but not least a very authentic tiramisù (we are italians🙂) Trust me, try it you do not regret at all! Simona

This was the best meal we had in Lisbon, hands down. My wife had the Solar 31's steak, it was very tender and flavorful. Came with rice and fries. I had the Croaker with creamy sea rice, it was out of this world on flavor and ingredients. You won’t go wrong eating at this restaurant.
