5/10The price markup on the wines (x4 Euros) is totally unacceptable. We will not return and we will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

9.5/10We were very impressed with the quality of the food, the attentive service and vibrant atmosphere. Try the “arroz de lavagante” (Rice with Lobster) and the Fish Soup. Plus the wine selection is extensive.

5/10So… We had a reservation for 4 person at 20:30. We arrived at 21:00, and their was no more table for us, but the waiter told us to wait a bit it will be fast. We waited 1:30 hours. It was not a problem because they offered us some appetiser to wait, but each time we asked it was 5 more minutes until that we wait 1:30 hours. Ok. Not a bid deal. We can see that the restaurant is full and we was late and they offered us something to wait. After we are installed at the table with some ham, cheese, grilled vegetables, and bread. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine that was good. Then we ordered 4 fish soups, which is one of the famous dishes of the house… it was a tomato soup with shrimp and cod bar… the bouillon was ok. Hopefully we had a bottle of white wine that was very nice for the price. And we finished by a dessert, sweet rice, with too much cinnamon on it. In the end, it’s time to pay and they start to ask us to pay for things that was offered or things that we didn’t ask for and which they brought without doing any comments. The son of the owner was told us that it was written in little at the bottom of the menu, like in a bank contract that “all the appetiser have to be paid”. And it’s like that in Portugal. Ok, maybe. But when you see a table of four french people, told them… and even more when you start by offering some stuff to stay. How do you want us to know what is offered and what is not. And it is absolutely not correct to ask after for us to pay for something that we never asked for. So, the team was nice (before the end), the food was good but that’s it, and the service was very long. With additionally, unjustified prices, it was really not a good experience for us.

10/10A great find and although there were other tourists dining there it was a relief to see it was mostly locals. The food was delicious prepared beautifully - a wonderful wine list and impeccable service. Would go again and again ….

10/10The experience at Solar dos Nunes was extraordinary! The appetizers were amazing and the lobster and shrimp rice was espectacular. The dessert was out of this world too! A true and authentic Portuguese experience that everyone should be able to have. The service was also amazing! I enjoyed this restaurant and will be back next time I'm in town!

9/10Absolutelty charming. Our waiter was extremely friendly and service minded. He explained that we should select from the appetizers on the table, he would remove those we didn't prefer. A brazen waiter had sold them all to us (and there would have been no room left for mains). Large servings. An amazing experience with typical Portugese fair. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Lisbon.

8.5/10Excited to try this restaurant last day in Lisbon - the seafood was delicious - for some reason we had difficulty with getting served in timely manner- appetizers were on the table, but it was at least 30 minutes and had to flag someone down. that said, once we did so we had a good experience the food was excellent and enjoyed the desert they offered at the end.

3/10The food was tasteless with no seasoning whatsoever. To make matters worse, we were overcharged on our bill by almost EUR100! Luckly, I notice the mistake and point it out to our waiter. Our bill was adjusted without an argument. No wonder the restaurant lost its Michelin star. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

7/10The restaurant captures an authentic Portuguese ambiance and was filled with locals. We let the waiter suggest meals, ordering the cod and pork. Both were ok, definitely not up to an Michelin restaurant expectations. Our wine was delicious and the list was impressive.

3.5/10Incredible dissapointed by this restaurant, could barely differentiate the taste between the meat and the pork, cold appetizers were awful. The only light on the end of the tunnel was their fish dishes. Not worth of any michelin award don’t waste your time.

5.5/10A very traditional restaurant specializing in traditional meat and fish dishes. We were surrounded by several extremely loud business dinners ensconced in branded fleece jackets discussing conferences they were attending at shouting volume, which drowned out any potential charm the kitschy decor and service may have imparted on the experience - instead leaving the impression that we had happened upon the original Cheesecake Factory or TGIFridays location. The food was reasonably good, but not memorably so and it would not particularly occur to me to recommend the restaurant. One might find great value in the enormous portions if one were inclined to consume such rich food at great volumes in single sittings - the amount of food in each dish was certainly generous. I have experienced traditional restaurants that keep dishes out on tables and shuffle them between diners as they did with the appetizers but I find the practice unsanitary and outdated. Service was friendly, informal, and attentive.

9.5/10Lovely small neighborhood restaurant. Very busy and noisy. Interesting little appetizers on our table as we sat down. Waiter explained that we would be charged for any we ate. We just put aside those that didn't appeal to us. We had the Fish soup, a house specialty. That and the appetizers were more than we could finish. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend if you're looking for good food and a very Portuguese experience.

8.5/10When we arrived to the restaurant, we found some appetizer dishes waiting for us. I had put in the reservation that we were celebrating an engagement so I believed that they had brought this dishes out as a gift since none of the waiters said anything regarding the prices. When we received the tab, they charged us over 50 euros for some salads and some jamon iberico. Thought it was very deceptive and disappointed in the michelin guide for sending me to a tourist trap.

10/10A lot of locals and not many tourists (like us). Very friendly. Beautiful interiors and great food! If you're not sure what 'real' Portugese food is like, then come here. You will not be disapointed.

6/10Ups and downs all through the evening. The atmosphere itself it nice, service is well done but extremely slow (we were there for one hour before our dishes came, had to ask a second time for the water). The quality of the food was nice, we got a grilled stake and a cod fillet, but I'm not happy with the way they were presented. Good ingredients but excessive quantity and side ingredients that I didn't understand. Our cod fillet was fried, with onions, peppers, potato chips and shrimps all around. Maybe I didn't understand the idea, but I had expectations (from the michelin guide) and they weren't met, which was disappointing. Again, the ingredients are great and cooked nicely, it's what it's with them that I wasn't convinced by.
