10/10Amazing Italian food, varied menu for meat, fish and vegetarian diners. Seating inside & outside. An extensive & delicious list of Italian wines to choose from. Biggest selection is by the bottle but the Puglian white wine we had by the glass was also good. The staff were knowledgeable on the food & wine, happy to give personal recommendations & very accommodating.

We went to Solferino our last night in Italy. We were a party of 10 and wanted the night to be special. Solferino did not disappoint. The food was incredible, as was the service. Our server Roberto made sure everything was taken care, he made us feel welcomed, and made sure were enjoying ourselves. Some of the dishes were more traditional, and other were more unique. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We could not have asked for a better last supper! Solferino is a must!

5.5/10had one of the worst dining experiences in years at this restaurant. Despite booking a table two weeks in advance, we had to wait an hour past our reservation time. The place was overbooked, with many people waiting for their reserved tables. The management was completely disorganized, and the staff was overwhelmed. Our waiter was rude and visibly stressed, which made the whole experience even worse. Extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning.

2/10I used to really love this resturant, every time I’m in Milan ill make some time to have dinner there. but after what happened to me last time I would never go back. We had 2 main course and one Burette salad

7/10Service was rushed. We felt as if the waiters were eager to turn the table from the moment we arrived. The salads that we ordered as starters arrived with the main course, and all within 10 or 15 minutes of ordering.

This was a great find while on our trip to Milan. It has a cozy ambiance, friendly staff and they went out of their way to accommodate my allergies. Domenico was our server. He was not only very friendly, but very knowledgeable with their menu items. He knew which would menu items he could modify for me. That’s very refreshing as many places don’t or can’t accommodate certain dietary restrictions. Domenico made our dinner experience there very special. Thank you.

6/10The staff lacked a sense of hospitality. Our greeting by the host was gruff and didn’t get a sense of welcoming. Lighting at our table was dim but other tables had ceiling lights. After our comments the waiter brought out a rather poor table light. He tried. Our starter courses; bucatini tomato sauce with porcini cooked perfectly; eggplant Parmesan was tepid although wonderful flavors. The Risotto alla Milanese was wonderful. The ample serving of cotoletta alla Milanese was dry and unappetizing. The meringue Dessert was overly sweet. It was our last meal in Milano and we left with an unfavorable impression.

10/10Our experience to Solferino was excellent!!! The best T bone we have ever eaten! I still have the taste of burrata on my mouth ! The list of wines was huge , everybody was very helpful, our waiters are very polite, kids friendly and the place was so Italian! You feel relaxed and happy eating in Solferino !!! Bravo !!!

The restaurant had an amazing ambiance with friendly staff and delicious food. My husband said the osso buco was the best he’s ever had. They have an extensive wine list and a menu with pasta with a seafood flair.

3.5/10We had reservation at 21:30 & sat at our table at 22:00.. if u are not an Italian..treated u disrespectfully..the food just decent..u don’t have to be Italian to know how to eat well..the place was gorgeous..filled with flowers..& they don’t charge us a dish because we didn’t like it..

10/10Ambiance and service was incredible. We ordered cheese plate, pasta with burrata, sesame crusted salmon, and fried seafood. I only wish there was sauce with the salmon and fried seafood. Otherwise it was wonderful

9.5/10Our party of 7 had such a good night here for my dads birthday with Reuben that we booked again for the following night, and had just as good an experience with Robert. We did have a bit of a surprise the second night when we were charged 200 euros for the lobster ravioli special, which my mother didn't make me aware of until we had returned to our hotel, so I would just confirm the price of the specials when choosing them, as obviously they are off menu. Regardless, the food was the best we had in 2 weeks across Tuscany, Florence, Como, and Milan.

10/10The good: Great service - I don't remember our servers name but he was incredibly smiley, very genuine, and very helpful. Recommended some dishes which we tried and were not at all disappointed. Very good food - Both my girlfriend and I essentially licked our plates clean. Really cool area - Neighboring restaurants/pubs felt more local as opposed to touristy. This was my second time in Milan but my first time in this area of the city. The Not-As-Good: Our server brought out two things of bread - 1 in a basket, 1 in a bag - neither of which did we ask for. Still, we would've absolutely been happy eating the 1 (from the basket) and assumed the bread in the bag was for us to take away after dinner (why else would it be in a bag separate from the basket?). The bagged bread was taken away from us by the server (not that we tried to fight him for it or anything) yet we were still charged for it after not ordering it or eating it.
