9/10All of the food was nicely prepared and generous in amounts. It’s a busy location on the street, but we were there early and able to take advantage of the evening activity just starting up. Imagine that later on the bar action might heat up and the space could be noisy, but that wasn’t the case during our time at the restaurant. Creative menu and good proportions. Bon appétit.

10/10What a fabulous restaurant. The staff were friendly and made great recommendations of food to try. Wine was delicious and this place has great twists on Italian classics. A must place to visit when in Rome.

9.5/10A pleasant surprise. The food was great (especially the octopus and the beef tartare trio) and plenty. The server was very kind, courteous and friendly. They have a nice terrace, as well.

6.5/10Overall ambience is lovely and the restaurant feels classy. The decor is to a high standard. Service was also good. Albeit the waiter could have been more knowledgeable on the wine menu. Food unfortunately was novel in its conception but wasn’t as well executed as we may of liked. It wasn’t bad by any stretch, but after seeing the decor we had higher expectations. Maybe it was just our experience, but the sirloin was slightly tepid, and overall there was too much salt in the two pasta dishes we ordered. However we had a lovely evening and the strawberry cheesecake was phenomenal.

10/10Exquisite food - possibly the best pasta we have had on our three week tour of Italy! We hadn’t tried maritozzo before but it was delicious. When we left the restaurant we couldn’t believe how big the queues were to eat at other places in Trastevere when Sospiro had tables available - must be a proper hidden gem. Highly recommended.

9/10Very attentive staff. The maritozzi were unusual but good and the pasta with pistachio pesto and prawns was delicious. I loved the decor and atmosphere. The wine is a little expensive but high quality. A great find in Trastevere. Recommended.

10/10Food, service and ambiance were all amazing! Meemo made our experience exceptional - he was extremely attentive and welcoming to my family. We ordered almost everything he recommended and the food was some of the best we had in Rome! Ravioli, lasagne and fried buratta were unforgettable.

10/10We got great food and service here on a hot and humid night in Rome chose to sit inside in the air conditioned space although they have an amazing interior courtyard inside. After 6 weeks in Italy enjoyed some new local wine and dishes we hadn’t tried before and awesome local advice from Simon and service as well. We recommend this place when trying to find a restaurant in Travestre area.
