    Best pizza I’ve ever had in Italy so far! Nice craft beer too! Chef prepared the food with heart! 👍🏻❤️

    We reserved for 6 people but ended with 8 and they were able to accommodate us. All 8 were happy with their food

    What great food, and a nice break from traditional pasta. We tried a few starters including the chips, all delicious. Then Nonna’s meatball which is served in a bread bowl, ravioli (so good!), and the bombetto (amazing!). Our younger daughter ordered orchiette with olive oil which the staff accommodated without hesitation. Such great food and the staff was so friendly to our family of 4. A lovely experience. We would highly recommend.

    Just outside the Sassi area, this is a gem. Unique, delicious, fairly priced and kind service… I’d go back in A heartbeat ! The menu is overwhelming, but everything was spot on! Mille grazie

    Tasty food, slightly irritating service, trying to push meals with higher profitability. One waiter for restaurant with app 50 seats is not enough, but this looks like post-Covid reality

    Delicious food, prepared with fresh and high quality products. Very nice concept: a mix of traditional recipes from Puglia, local food, and a touch if modernity with fancy presentation. Incredibly tasty food! Excellent quality for price!

    Was excited to eat here with all the great reviews. BUT, not so great; it was just okay. Ordered the #5 stuffed potato: (#005. SALSICCIA DI SUINO, FONDUTA DI PALLONE, CIME DI RAPE SALTATE E CRUMBLE DI TARALLO € 9.00 #005. PORK SAUSAGE, PALLONE DI GRAVINA CHEESE FONDUE, SAUTÉED BROCCOLI GREENS AND TARALLO CRUMBIE.) As well as a glass of wine. The potato itself was excellent, but the broccoli was cooked to mush. Really; had zero texture. And the pork was minimal. In addition, I ordered the 001. TRE DULC (TRE DOLCI DELLA CASA / THREE HOMEMADE DESSERTS) for dessert. They were fine, I guess. I ate about half and wanted to take the rest with me. I read they have take away so I assumed they would have a container. Guess not because they tossed my leftover and came back and told me, “Owner says No.” What?!

    What she calls broccoli were turnip greens ... and oh well, laws she wanted to take away glass jars, the cost of the dessert does not include the jar but what is inside the jar ... then I don't know where she read that she could take it away ... maybe she will have imagined ....

    The food at Sottofondo was amazing. The wait staff did a great job and were very nice. My husband had one of the baked stuffed potatoes anand loved it.Ii had a vegetarian dish which was delicious and my daughter had a pasta dish with pesto and a sprinkling of raw tuna. The dessert was equally as good.
