First, 22 Summits is the perfect venue - modern with warm lighting and decor. Alain’s plate compositions were thoughtful and wonderful combinations of flavours with locally sourced fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and beef. A special mention to Alain’s serving team, knowledgeable and hospitable. This is my second year attending one of Alain’s events in Zermatt, and once again I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

+1Attention to detail is superb. Alain came to every table and explained every single dish. The menu is a surprise, but we were never disappointed. Plan on spending a few hours for dinner, it’s worth every minute!

Wonderful food, created and served with passion, style and expertise - what a talent Alain has. Every course was a delight - from the amuse bouche to begin through five exquisite dishes to the chocolate Matterhorn to finish. The waiting staff was exemplary and Alain is truly gifted.

Such a special and personal experience! We loved it. Every dish was wonderful and having Chef Alain personally explain each course took the evening over the top. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful evening at Alain’s. The food was absolutely delicious and just the perfect amount at each course which we really appreciated. So loythat Alain also comes to the table on a number of occasions to explain the menu, check how everything is etc.. really worth going here if you are in Zermatt. We will certainly come back again.

The food is freaking amazing. Great balance of flavors and techniques. Chef is super nice and even got our coats for us at the end of the night

Alain is a fantastic cook and a great host. We have had dinner with him three times now and are always thrilled by the flavours and the quality. The small team is very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Food was exquisite. Every dish presentation is a feast to the eyes and the mouth. It had the perfect amount of food.

The food was amazing (super fresh) and the wine pairings excellent. Alain is a gem. And it was no more expensive than anywhere else we ate in Zermatt but so much better! Highly recommend it.

Every dish that was brought out was fabulous. An outstanding eating experience, Alain is a magician of culinary delights.

The meal was started 35 minutes late. The food also was very slow in coming. Food was adequate at best. We actually left before dessert because everything took so long. I would not attend something like this again from there. Generally, the meal was not very well organized. I assume there would be more interaction with the chef than there was.

Food was pre prepared and came too quick like rushed! Waitress had no idea about drinks Menu The host was extremely nice and pleasant but it’s not a special evening if it feels like fast food We prefer to eat a la carte as there at least you have a choice and are not confronted with a speedy service that obviously is scheduled to stop Taste of dishes was good though but nothing special

Alain came out and explained the dishes, which were fabulous! Clearly a lot of love and care went into the 4 courses. Everything from the bread to the dessert were exquisite.
