6.5/10When we arrived the doors were locked, not sure if it’s the neighborhood or what, didn’t give you a warm fuzzy feeling. The service was great, we had all we needed at all times by the make and female workers. Now the food, we are kind of Italian food junkies with Italian friends who make the real stuff, this sadly was nowhere near that level. The reviews I read made me pick this establishment but sadly the food didn’t meet expectations

8.5/10Food generally good except that spaghetti and coffee were barely tepid. What I didn't like at all was the price (8.80e) of the entree - bread, sauce and caramelized onion, that in a tipical portuguese restaurant would cost you 3-4eur. One presumes he price be in a usual range and then ends up paying twice more than expected. I think it is a dirty trick.

10/10My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Spaghetti Notte last night. The owners were gracious and provided us with an excellent wine selection to pair well with our pasta selections. Both our pasta dishes we enjoyed but especially the gnocchi. Really one of the finest Italian dinners we have had including all the times we have visited Italy.

What a great restaurant. Unique dishes with modern twists. We really enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and the great quality of the food. I cannot understand how this restaurant does not have a higher score on google. It really deserves its honorable mention in the Michelin guide.

7.5/10The starters were good as usual (but were not a surprise...). The music was great. The employee recommended a dish that was later advised against by the restaurant's owner. The menu should be renewed if there are dishes that are not recommended by the restaurant's owner. Overall, regarding my dish, the pasta was overcooked and didn't even look like fresh pasta. The dish appeared to be "heated day-old pasta". The wild pork ravioli was good, but the sauce was too greasy. The dessert was good, but very old-fashioned. I believe the chef should reflect and renew the menu. Less dishes in the menu, but greater quality. Also, more fresh ingredients needed.

What an amazing restaurant. Rita Quieroz, chef and owner is phenomenal as a person, restaurateur, and chef (!!!). We fell in love with her restaurant staff and her in just one meal. Absolutely wonderful use of ingredients that made perfect fresh farm to table flavors. Unique as well, the Picante Curry w/ Scampi Risotto blew my mind and taste buds! My wife’s pesto spaghetti was astounding. Desert? Try the MMM and/or the Brazilian Lime & Sicilian lemon pie. So good. Visiting Coimbra? Visit Spaghetti Notte, you will feel the same way! Obrigado Rita and staff!

We went to Spaghetti Note on recommendation and due to Michelin Guide. We noticed that it is fresh truffle season from their Facebook page and decided to try it out. Pasta was fresh (homemade on a daily basis) and light. Truffle is sourced from a small Italian local farmer. Food was very tasty overall, we tried the house focaccia and crostini with aubergine sauce and the red pepper sauce, and had onion soup. Tried two fresh truffle spaghetti dishes and the mushroom ravioli. All of them were very tasty. We tried three different traditional Italian desserts on waiter recommendations which were also very tasty. We recommend this to anyone who wants a genuine Italian food experience or truffle, just listen to the waiter, he has good recommendations to follow.

10/10I had been struggling with Portuguese food, basically, it’s not good. The beef is like leather, everything is horribly over-salted and boring. It’s as if they learned nothing from having an Empire, didn’t bring any good recipes back. So I decided to have a nice Italian meal. This place was great! Service was excellent, everything I had was 5-star. I wish I were staying longer in Coimbra, I would most definitely go back. As I walked back to my place I decided that this was one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in my life. Thanks for a great evening!

10/10Pasta was amazing we had the mushroom pasta as well as the one with sausage! Wine choice & the service and waiter were also superb. Rita the chef came out to ask how everything was, so welcoming. We had the lime tart dessert so yummy as well as the mmm. Great find I highly recommend Spaghetti Notte!

10/10Spaghetti Notte is a small restaurant in a residential area the newer section of Coimbra. We were greeted warmly at the door and promptly seated outdoors. The view from the patio is wonderful. The menu offered a variety of pastas and risottos as well as veal and chicken dishes. I ordered the agnolotti stuffed with veal in a 4 cheese sauce and my husband had the veal parmigiana. Both were delicious. Our server was excellent and spoke English perfectly. The restaurant decor was simple but well done and the prices were reasonable. During dinner the chef came out to greet us and to see how we liked our food. She was lovely. If you’re looking for a change from the standard Portuguese dishes I highly suggest trying Spaghetti Notte.

10/10This slice of italy in Coimbra was a breath of fresh air. Sit indoors or on a beautiful terrace with the sounds of Frank Sinatra like any old school New York City spot. The chef is amazing and all dishes were attractive and delicious from appetizer (burrata and tomatoes) to the veal ravioli, funghi ravioli, spaghetti pesto and shrimp risotto to the perfect MMM strawberry dessert and the pistachio creme brulee…all were perfect!! Service was great and prices are very reasonable…anyone complaining about quantity is just being petty and ridculous…this is a place preparing high end cuisine not a typical red sauce joint serving you a gigantic plate of of average quality spaghetti and meatballs …this place is a gem….anyone who says otherwise is a clown.

+2Great food and amazing service, a little bit expensive but worth it. Everything was truly delicious, I recommend the mushroom risotto and the tiramisu! The only thing I didn't enjoy that much was the pesto pasta: a little bit dry and the pesto wasn't the best. Overall, a great experience ????
