3/10Pleasant meet and greet in Dry Martini. Taken through to Speakeasy and seated at long table (for 14) with groups of diners at each end. I was placed in the middle - 2 chairs from each group. I asked why I couldn’t have an individual tables when someone eventually arrived with menu. They disappeared - I waited. On return told there were none I could have. I said I’d leave. That was fine by them. As I was passing through Dry Martini, I was spotted by the maitre d’. He asked what had happened and told me he’d fix things. We went back to the restaurant. There were some terse words with the head waitor and I was given a table to myself. The head waitor studiously ignored me and wouldn’t make eye contact all night. A cocktail was served speedily - but apart from that despite how nice Rowell and another young waitor were, service sluggish and not in any way attentive. The amuse was dry as sticks. Starter and main acceptable. Waited ages after bill came for card machine. Magic has gone…

10/10The food and service was great. To get to the restaurant you go though the bar area and then someone leads you to the restaurant area which is actually the “speakeasy”. The ambience is pretty cool. Low lighting, really cool.

10/10It's an experience from the start. Food was lovely. Rowell our server was attentive and made some recommendations which were great. Will come back when we hit Barcelona again. Don't miss this one.

10/10Spain's #11-rated best restaurant. It should be ranked #1. We were stunned when we walked in the door to the restaurant thirty minutes early and were asked to wait in the most elegant bar we had ever seen. It is called Dry Martini Bar and has been ranked in the Top 50 Bars worldwide for seven years in a row. Wow! I had the best Dry Martini of my life, and Randy had an excellent Whiskey Sour. The bartenders were all dressed in white linen coats, and our drinks were served on silver platters as we reclined on a luxurious green leather couch. We were then escorted back outside to a nondescript, unmarked caged door and asked for the password we had received when we made our reservation on "The Fork" (thanks, Paulette). The food, wine, service, and aesthetics made it my favorite restaurant and the best birthday dinner of my life.

9.5/10Fantastic food. We ordered the guacamole and chips , Vitello tonatto, and anemones dishes as starters. And for the main dish we had the chateau Briand steak. All were delicious and superbly presented . We concluded with two desserts - white choc mousse and a chocolate curl . Again delightful. One of our best meals in Barcelona. Service was top rate . Beautiful restaurant with a very nice ambiance. Our hostess spoke perfect English….was very helpful in helping us with the menu and service was very professional. We would definitely be returning . A must visit place for great food in Barcelona.

9/10We had a marvelous time and a very good lunch.. The cocktails live up to the name. The setting was terrific; somewhat romantic and special feeling and many of our dishes were very, very good. Nice menu. Our waitress, Angie, was excellent! Attentive, kind, generous, and informative. She was a terrific ambassador for the restaurant. Favorites: “frozen” gin and tonic, charred octopus, “ice soufflé” (get a pic at the least!! We also enjoyed the complimentary side dishes, which kindly were made gluten free for one of our party. Thank you!

10/10Speakeasy is perfect in every way. The ambiance is warm and intimate, the liquor inventory lines two of four walls, and is back lite--just beautiful and in keeping with a speakeasy concept. Linens are high quality, same for glassware. Cocktails were perfect! Great wine list. Servers are attentive, helpful, and friendly. Probably the freshest and tastiest oysters we've had in years. We ordered a second serving. Our meal was wonderful, best suckling pig we've had in Barcelona. Highly recommended. We'll be back. One thing....Although your GPS or address tells you you've arrived, Speakeasy is not evident from the street, hence the concept. You enter through the Dry Martini Bar, otherwise, you'll never find it. Recommend that The Fork makes this clear in the description. But, never mind. Great place!

9.5/10It took us a few minutes to figure out how to get to the restaurant, but it was a clever way to get in! The ceviche and the châteaubriand were excellent! The red wine we selected Paramos de Legaris is rated 4.1 on Vivino and did not disappoint! Just beware that this restaurant do not offer their discount on desserts and bread (which is 4.80 euros per person). The bread was brought to our table without asking for it. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable; however, when a larger group arrived, they forgot about us and we had to wait about an hour for our bill.
