Service & attention excellent, sadly one group very noisy following Irish rugby triumph & spoilt ambience for all others Mushroom starter excellent although over oily dish, Salmon sadly dry, Shrimp risotto good but seemed to be artificially coloured, Tagliatelle & Stroganoff excellent

This was our second visit to Splendito and it won’t be our last. This is restaurant where you can take friends and be certain they will be impressed by the great food and super service.

The restaurant is tricky to find but definitely worth the effort. The staff are friendly even remembering us from a visit in April. We had soup which was warm and hearty which is just what you want on a December night. The main courses of Lamb Shank, Beef Stroganoff and Chicken in a mushroom sauce where excellently prepared and all tasted delicious.

Very warm welcome and great food! After 7 weeks in Portugal we selected Splendido for our final dinner of the trip - and we are very pleased we did. An outstanding well priced experience. Highly recommended!

Honestly was the best in its price range... Miguel's hands on helping with choices of food and wine was instrumental in making the outing very pleasant. I would definitely recommend visiting again.

Everything was perfect. Very welcoming environment. The staff was incredible. The food was delicious. Both the grilled salmon and grilled codfish were superb. A lot of locals were there which is always a good sign. Highly recommend.

The owner was so welcoming from the moment we walked up to the door. He chatted with us about Ireland and his time in London with Irish people. He was ao lovely. His family worked here too so we love the family run place vibes x

As visitors to the area we made an impulse decision to book a table on the way back from a beach day. What a fantastic choice this turned out to be. Owned and ran by the most delightful family we had the pleasure of meeting 3 generations during our visit. Incredible choice of fishes to select from. After much discussion as stuck for choice we both chose the amazing Linguine Nero with smoked Salmon with additional shrimp. !! Wow wow. Simply outstanding. We are so pleased we our Google search lead us to Splendido.. just 6 minutes from Vilamoura beach by car and fraction of the price of marina restaurants yet with outstanding quality. What a gem of a find. Dont miss this. Simply a class restaurant bursting with local delicacies. Thankyou for a wonderful first visit. Our only regret is not discovering this gem earlier on out holiday.

We really enjoyed discovering Splendido, so much so that we have already visited twice during our holiday bringing extended family with us the second time. Very friendly staff with impeccable service and absolutely delicious food, all in a lovely and spacious setting. We look forward to returning again!

What a well run family restaurant. The chicken in mushroom sauce was amazing. We shared the apple pie on the recommendation of the waiter and definitely made the right choice.

Fantastic restaurant the owner and all his staff so attentive to your needs Food was excellent hence I had to have three courses overall highly recommend whilst you are in the Vilamoura area I will revisit soon

We visited here based on the good reviews we read and they were spot on. The service is impressive; the best everyone was so welcoming. We had prawns to start which were so tasty and then pizza, lamb chops and pork. All were extremely tasty. To top it off everything was very reasonable in terms of price. We will be back
