4.5/10Small tables in overcrowded room. An additional server would be very helpful. Food was relatively tasteless and mostly bland.

8/10Beautiful restaurant very close to the Museum area in Amsterdam. The service was lovely and the place outstanding (beautiful decoration, quit ambiance, and very attentif). I was just expecting a little more from the price both in quantity and outstanding quality. The app say that in averagw people spend 15 euros, but you simply can’t spend less than 25 per person. In short, it waa alright for an introduction to the indonesian food in Amsterdam.

10/10We were lucky to be able to get a reservation. We ordered the rijsttafel. What a spread and a delight for our palates. Would highly recommend this little gem.

10/10We had been awaiting a full rijstafel as there are none in Boston and Tripadvisor doesn't even list Indonesian as a cuisine. This place did not disappoint, everything was excellent, the food, the service, the friendly staff, the promptness of seating. Highly recommenced.

7/10Note: My rating I for “service”, ***** for “fast”, should really be *, for “much too fast”, but there was no such option. We arrived very early, when it was still very quiet. Nevertheless, they came to our table to take our order straight away. Our food arrived almost immediately. The main course - a lamb dish - was good! But I was surprised that I had to pay extra for the accompanying rice (side dish?) and atjar. When we had hardly finished eating, they immediately tried to clear the table, which of course felt like: please leave. Five minutes later, when we were still talking and enjoying the wine, another waiter tried it too. A bit later, the same person cleared it anyway, although we still didn’t want that yet: we had come for a good time, not for the fastest dinner experience ever. Then we tried to order a desert. I asked them to replace the ice cream and chocolate sauce accompanying the pisang goreng by a few drops of pisang ambon liquor (which they had on the menu), but that was “impossible”, so I didn’t order it, but they brought it anyway (the standard version), and the waiter got very annoyed when I refused it. Although we had tried hard to let them leave us alone a bit, to spend some quality time together, we were outside again very quickly. Too quickly.

8.5/10Lovely spot, delicious rijsttafel, gracious server. Just very slow service: our food arrived an hour after we were seated. Plan on making it an evening and you’ll have a good one.

5/10Quantity-quality-price ratio was really poor (expensive for tiny portions), also refused to serve us tab water (which is compulsory for any place serving alcohol in the Netherlands) and pressured us to order eat and leave fast throughout our meal. Would not recommend.

people who get a 30% discount are the people who are often very demanding , just go to a restaurant that suits your budget, our prices are transparent, you could have left too, there are so many restaurants in Amsterdam with prices under €15, think carefully about your budget before entering a restaurant, don't be negative

10/10We had a wonderful ‘rice table’ !! It was a pleasure to see the family run business take such pride in their work ethic and presentation of the beautiful meal! We would definitely go back and recommend it to all to enjoy while in Amsterdam

6/10The food was exquisite and the ambiance delightful. After we had finished our meal, the owner/waiter brought us dessert menus. When he returned, he had our check and said he was sorry but our table was booked for 7:30. We could not have dessert and we must leave. It was exactly 7:30 and we had arrived on time for our reservation at 6:30. If it was true that there was another reservation, we should have been told when we arrived that we would not be able to stay more than an hour. Many of the other diners witnessed this and were appalled. We have been to this restaurant several times over the years, but cancelled plans to return the next evening.

10/10Last visited here about 6 years ago. On this visit, only had one night in Amsterdam so this was the one restaurant we wanted to come back to. The food is incredible. The rijstafel is full of amazing flavours. The hosts were very welcoming. Can't recommend this enough - but make sure you book! We will be back next time we are in Amsterdam.

9.5/10Authentic Indonesian rice table, great location steps from the Marriott and near the museum quarter, definitely a lot better than the Indonesian restaurant located at the flower market, I was raised in Holland , my grandparents were stationed in Indonesia, so I grew up knowing what a delicious rice table should taste like. Reservations are definitely needed.

10/10Good food and Excellent service. Good location in Amsterdam Zuid. We also had a nice cocktail which was refreshing with a nice bite. Worth vistiting, also pricewise, good value for money, in over expensive Amsterdam.

4.5/10Do not recommend. The nasi goreng was very dissappointing. Tried both the meat and the vegetarian version. Slow service. Had to ask for our drinks again and again. Never received the water though !

10/10We enjoyed our meal at the Srikandi. Most people in the restaurant opted for the Indonesian Rice Table option as you get a large selection of different foods. Staff very friendly. Recommended as very close to Museumplein so a great location.

Dank u wel voor u beoordeling, dit heb al verwacht, om eerlijk te zijn u veroorzaakt zelf , u hebt uw korting van 30% en wilt nog steeds zuinig zijn , alleen bijgerechten besteld , terwijl u wist dat alleen te bestellen is in combinatie met de hoofdgerechten, helaas kunnen wij niet iedereen tevreden stellen , uw manier van uiteten past niet in ons beleid … als u gezellig wilt hebben samen thuis koken met een flesje wijn , tot nooit meer zien .

2/10Je restaurant accepted a reservation for a large group, called me to ask to move my reservation from 7 to 8 to accommodate this. When arrived at 8, the large group was delayed (we were not informed of this) and we were asked to leave. Or wait until the group was gone (they had promised to be quick?!?!??) We were turned out into the pouring rain, our party contained two small kids. I will never go back to this place. This was too rude.

7.5/10Interesting tastes and flavours very different from the western ones. Good location close to the best museums of Amsterdam, on a beautiful avenue. On the down side, the choice of plates and even more the prices were completely different from what I was able to read on TheFork website. Guess in which direction…

10/10This place was such a great find. Such an awesome, welcoming staff. They took our 15-person reservation last minute, and we were all able to get this EXCELLENT, delicious 3-course set menu. Great ambiance as we were sat upstairs, too. Awesome location next to the Reikjmuseum. Thank you Srikandi for taking care of us!

9.5/10Food was not too hot (spicy), which was good for us. We had the rice table with 12 dishes to sample. We will go again! It was Monday night and the restaurant was full. That is a good sign itself.

5/10We only wanted to order one main and two sides between the two of us. However, this was not enough food according to the manager so they decided not to serve us and we had to leave. Seemed like an odd decision considering they were half full on a Saturday at 8pm

10/10The food was great . It is evident that the owners r.eally care. They explained the menu choices, and asked how the food was. Excellent restaurant, love the various Indonesian dishes from various areas of Indonesia. A must go.

2.5/10Staff could not handle the amount of people in the restaurant. Serice was terrible. We ordered a bottle of wine and at one point, the owner plonked the bottle on our table but never brought any glasses and did not open the bottle... it sat there a good 20 minutes. When the food came it was poor... I love grilled fish in banana leaf but this fish tasted awful, very dry, seemed not to have been marinated. My wife had the salmon and it was also poor and not marinated properly. Our friends had the ricetable which seemed very medicore. I cannot recommend this place, it is small, tired and old, and should probably be avoided.

4/10So much potential, but poor execution. Service was lethargic and food was served luke warm at best and cold at worst. Can not honestly recommend it as it stands … which is a great shame. Sorry.
