9.5/10I was worried that this unique dutch dish would not be enjoyed by our whole party, but all 6 of us really enjoyed Stamppot in our first experience. It was truly filling and was way more than just mashed potatoes and meat. Two of also ordered Snert, Dutch pea soup, and also enjoyed this tasty treat. To top it off the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

9/10Despite a delay in making the table available at the scheduled time, the place offered very cordial and kind hospitality (beer offered in exchange for the delay) and quality food with extraordinary flavours.

10/10This was the best authentic Dutch meal we had on our trip. Small, friendly restaurant that serves excellent food. We tried biterballen, pea soup, 2 of the stamppots, and herring. All were delicious. Prices were favorable compared to many other places we ate. Reservations are recommended because it’s a small restaurant.

+1Dutch cuisine for dinner.. Booked the place based on The Fork ratings and rank & not disappointed at all. They were kind enough to push our reservation by 30 minutes. The server was kind to suggest the beer options and non-beef options. Ambience was good. Dutch beer lived up to its expectations. Starter herring was so fresh & their traditional Stamppot dishes were also good. The French toast desert was the best of the lot. Definitely worth visiting if you’re searching for local cuisine when in Amsterdam; definitely book before you go.

Chose this place for our last night in Amsterdam — definitely no regrets! The food was delicious — I had the stamppot with sauerkraut and smoked sausage, and it was full of flavor and very comforting. The service was warm and attentive. Will definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for authentic Dutch food!

LOVED this place! I had a reservation for our 1st night in town. We were so tired so we showed up an hour early to see if we could get in. He was so helpful and got us in in about 15 minutes after rearranging some tables. The food was SO GOOD! I will definitely go back here next time I'm in AMS!!

10/10Fun little restaurant. We wanted to try authentic Dutch cuisine and ran across this restaurant. The menu selection seemed quite good. The staff were really friendly, even though they were quite busy. Really enjoyed the Lowlander IPA. The sausage was not quite as spicy as I expected, but that was ok. Prepared my wife’s steak properly. All in all a good dinne.

10/10Excellent service, the food was very tasty. When I asked about a recommendation for a beer (not a beer drinker) the staff pick I great choice for us. Highly recommend if you want Dutch food and the Apple pie topped the meal off perfectly.

We had the Bitterballen for a snack, the smallest size of the four places we tried them bit very good, and the mustard wasn’t too over powering. We ordered the Stamppot with sauerkraut and the Stamppot with Endive, both we very good. The best we had while on our trip.

We were looking to find a restaurant serving traditional Dutch food. We used the FORK app for the first time and found it very usual. Definitely use it on future trips. The food was excellent. On a cold day I had the traditional meat ball , Stamppot Endive, served on a flavoured mash with gravy. The portions were very generous. We also had the Slavinken which was another traditional dish. Once the restaurant filled with more diners the atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a no frills restaurant serving delicious food.
