Food was ok nothing spectacular. Waitress didn't ask about the size of cook and burger came well done and steaks which was asked medium rare cam medium well. We were too hungry to replace

Food was very good, we had the chateaubriand and were very pleased with it. Service was a little too slow, especially at the beginning to get drinks and menus but then the food delivery was pretty fast. Nice experience overall.

Great service and food :) they try to accommodate all customers needs. The place was really cozy. Meat was great. I would recommend it. We have requested some kids chairs and everything was prepared beforehand

Very good meal for the days you need a piece of meat, deliviously prepared with fresh vegetables and crisp french fries. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend!

Steaks were good, but the rest around it was average and overpriced, we had some bread with aïoli for starter with the beer, and bread was not that fresh and aïoli was average, for more than 4 euro I expect better quality

Quick service and ordering; Meat dishes are served without potatoes and/or frites or salad, these need to be ordered separately which makes them too expensive for what you get.

People make all the difference, right? RIGHT! Very open atmosphere, good food and very friendly, knowledgable staff create a very nice place for a friends diner. I do not often visit restaurants more than once, but Steak@The Lake surely will be the exception to that rule.

As the manageress was aware, we were disappointed with our experience on our sons 9th birthday supper last night, the slow kitchen service on a night that there were no customers inside the restaurant and not that many seated outside. the steak as conciliation we both had was very nice as usual, but to have missed serving our sides two salads, sharing fries and fried mushrooms was unforgivable. one final issue that I didn't make a fuss at the time due it clearly saying that the lunch/snack menu finished at 4 was that my son who's birthday it was would have liked to have the ham, bread cheese and 2 fried eggs club sandwich I think it was, but your waitress returned and said it was not possible. on a night where the restaurant was very busy I would understand not being able to accommodate this. It wasn't busy and knowing the occasion as an ex chef myself, I would have gladly have accommodated this easy to make request, this would have softened the blow of having two thirds of our supper forgotten.
